[ARRI LPL] Quality build, snug fit up with little movement. Smooth focusing ring.

[ARRI LPL] I love my Sony A7CR...I also love my Leica system. It's amazing to have an adapter that not only allows me to adapt my M glass to my Sony body, but to also allow me to close focus. The construction is solid (as in Leica-level) and works flawlessly. Obviously it doesn't transmit any metadata about the lens to the camera, but that's a small price to pay for such an incredible tool.

[8.3 oz / 235 g] The VM-E Adapter is basically 'glued' to my Sony AR7 IV and the
Voigtlander 28mm f/2.0 Ultron Vintage Aspherical VM Lens Type II. The adapter is very well made, like everything from Voigtlander, all metal, and the close focus feature provides even greater flexibility. It's expensive but you get what you pay for. The ability to adapt M lenses to Sony is well worth it if you don't mind or prefer manual focus.

[8.3 oz / 235 g] This thing basically turns my Voigtlander 35 1.2 Aspherical into a macro lens. Very cool mechanism and seems very well built. Worth the steep price point!

[ARRI LPL] The build quality is fantastic and it sits tight on my camera with no play. I wish it was less expensive though.

[ARRI LPL] It's simple, good and cost-effective. On top of allowing you to mount your typical Leica mount manual lenses, including Zeiss of Voigtlander, to just attach to your Fuji or Sonly cameras, it allows you to also focus much closer than normally possible. Personally I am using this to mount my Leica and Zeiss lenses on my Fujifilm cameras. Highly recomended.

[8.3 oz / 235 g] This adapter not only lets me use Leica-mount lenses on my R6, it changes close focus from 22 inches down to 6 or thereabouts.

[8.3 oz / 235 g] Having dealt with adapters over many years, you know that nothing comes close to a PL mount (don't get me started on positive lock EF, not even close... plus even Canon has kicked EF to the curb). LPL now takes PL and makes it literally bigger and better. For whatever reason, changing PL lenses always took a while to get it to sit in perfect for the lock to work, but so far with LPL it's been a piece of cake every time. Maybe that's an added bonus thanks to the rear guide? Anyhow, you may be thinking well the LPL to L is still a click-in adapter to the camera body. Correct, but Ron has created a collar that allows you to bolt the collar down to a plate along with the camera cage, then tighten the collar on the adapter and it's not moving. To be honest, even without the collar, these mounts are super accurate, so very little play with them to start with, but the collar just locks everything down tight. I always hated when using a follow focus (especially a focus motor) and every time you made an adjustment it shifted the lens in the mounts. Even the tiniest bit of movement showed up in the shot, so when you have two weak points, you get a lot of movement when you throw in some torque. With this setup, any movement between the lens and camera is now completely gone. I bought 4 LPL to L mounts and collars, instantly you should realize that is a big investment, but 100% worth it. Every time I use them, they make me happy, so thank you Ron and crew for continuing to push this industry forward!!

[Aluminum] I've used a number of adapters and this one by 7artisans works very well. The fit is snug and the lenses don't wiggle. It allows you to use the lens normally, focusing out to infinity; and with a simple twist it will let you reduce your focal distance - essentially working like an extension tube.

One bonus with an adapter like this, if your lens focuses past infinity you can use the close focus ring to back off the lens so that the focus ring stops exactly at infinity - great if you're zone focusing and want to adjust to infinity without needing to check focus.

There's no electronics in this adapter, so no exif data is transferred to the camera. These adapters exist, but not with close focus capabilities, and I feel that the close focus function is far more valuable.

[Aluminum] the best adapter I've used for the M-lenses on the Komodo. Infinity adjustment works pretty fine
