Q: 1. I need a bag large enough for my mac book pro 15 inch. I also need to fit all cables, connectors ets. I also need to fit 2-3 inches of 12X9 inch manila folders will this work?

A: This bag should be roomy enough for the use case you described.

Q: 2. Will this accommodate the Flowtech tripod and a head (Manfrotto Nitrotech 608)? Or just the tripod legs?

A: There are a few Flowtech Tripods all of which will fit without a head. You could have the 608 mounted certainly.

Q: 3. Will this work for glidecam hd1000?

A: A collapsed Glidecam HD1000 is 10 , extended it is 13 . With a camera, maybe 18 . The Porta Brace Carrying Case for Camera and Glidecam HD2000 is 29.5 , plenty of room to take the HD1000.

Q: 4. Can the visor be used outside in wind? Does this have corner ties for anchors? Otherwise could it launch a light laptop?

A: The PortaBrace Carrying Case and Visor for 16" MacBook Pro does not have dedicated anchor points, but there are a few loops that you could use to secure the case when using it in a windy location.
