[Black] I ordered these, thinking they would fit my Martin Audio Blackline XP15 speakers. They fit great. Love the pocket for the power cable.

[Zipper] I purchased these for the Mackie Thump gos and they fit like a sleeve. Thr official Mackie covers were never in stock. I own a few gator bags and they've always performed well!!!

[Handle] I bought these for my Bose F1 812 and they did not fit, but they are a perfect fit for the F1 Subs, extremely happy with their quality and durability!!! I like Gator products!!! And I Love B&H, everything I need for Audio and Video!!!

[Zipper] Laid Headrush FRFR-108 on side inside case, zipped up fine. Just enough room remaining on top of speaker to place power cable and two coiled 25' XLR cables.


Side pocket size limited to space between handle straps, so it isn't much use for other than small items, perhaps adapters or other small items.


Padding is a mater of opinion of the beholder. It's not designed to absorb any amount of shock from rough handling or an accidental drop. However, it seems to offer some limited protection from scratching perhaps on the bottom of the bag.


Since I place the speaker on its side inside the case, the front grill and the back panel do not rest on the floor. So, that's some consolation that the bag does offer for both cartage and storage.


Also, there is no carrying strap. Probably not a huge disadvantage because the whole unit is small enough to carry with the handles, and attaching a strap might be problematic since the case opens from the side, where normally a strap would be attached.


At this writing, the case was offered in a package of two unit for the price of one. Otherwise, the pricing everywhere i checked was double what i paid at B & H. So, i got two bags, which i needed, for the price of one. Such a deal.

[Universal] The bag fits my QSC K-2 just fine. The little side pocket is to small for the A/C cord but there’s space to lay it on top of the speaker. The 2 pack was bargain especially compared to the QSC bags.

[Black] The Gator Universal Speaker Tote is a good quality bag. It is of good fabric, sturdy zippers, and I like the padding built in to the tote. The upright loading is convenient especially for heavy speakers.

[Zipper] The side pocket, situated between the two side straps, is not large enough to accommodate the power cord, but may be useful for small items, like replacement fuses.


However, when the speaker cabinet is placed in the bag with the grill facing the front of the bag, there's room for the power cord and a 25' XLR cable placed on top the speaker. This orientation allows the speaker handle to be facing up, where it can be easily picked up and protects the front grill of the speaker to be facing downward and get dented from placing the bag on the floor.


There is only enough padding to barely protect the cabinet from minor scratches, so i've taken the advice of another reviewer to add 1 foam padding on the bottom of the case to improve protection for the cabinet, but this will not likely prevent damage from drops or careless abuse. This not a road-worthy case, but will do fine if it is used carefully. Zippers are not attached, each work independently. There is no strap, but it is not needed for this size case. Also, with no strap hook on either end, the bag can be place upright on the floor to allow more compact storage options. It will rest on the speaker's bottom where the best position can be obtained.
