A: Yes it is , the manufacture always recommends you to use there battery's but this is proven to work

[Lithium-Ion] I brought two lithium-ion battery from B&H and when I received them several days later I tried both of them. They fit perfectly and seem to work fine as expected. I plan to buy several more of them from this company in the near future when needed . I would highly recommend this company over a lot of other companies. Including two battery companies that I check out earlier. I even called the sony camera company and was told that my camera was outdated , and the batteries are no longer being made. I found out that they were wrong after contacting B&H about it. 5

[0.085 lb] I've tried to get replacement batteries to fit my older Fuji F480 digital camera and most would fit, but not activate the camera. The batteries offered by B&H fit perfectly and worked first time. I will buy again if the camera needs them in the future. 5
