Underwater content creation, commercial inspection, and recreational observation are easy and fun with the CHASING M2 Underwater ROV with 328' Tetherfrom CHASING. Connected by a 328' tether and using eight vectored thrusters to move in any direction and maintain accurate hover, the M2 captures 4K UHD video and 12MP photos, saving them to storage or streaming them live in real time. The drone is compatible with optional gear such as a robot claw, a GoPro camera, external lights, etc. Anti-stuck motor technology helps assure the M2 doesn't bog down in sand. Maximum working depth is 328' and top speed is 3 knots. Two 2000-lumen LEDs with three brightness levels provide ample light as you navigate the depths.

The drone's f/1.8 camera with 1/2.3 CMOS sensor is equipped with electronic image stabilization for tack-sharp images and movies, even in lower light. Field of view is a very wide 152°. You can shoot stills while capturing video, and time-lapse and slow-motion modes expand your creative capabilities. A 64GB SD card is provided but you can use cards up to 512GB to record your images, or download them to your computer via an HDMI port.

Power for the drone is supplied by a 97.7Wh battery that recharges in 2.5 hours, while the remote control module employs a 2500mAh battery that recharges in two hours.

A: This can be used in both fresh and salt water, the only difference is the weighted ballast that you have installed. So you would want to be sure to have the saltwater ballast installed for saltwater, and freshwater for freshwater.

[328' / 100 m] This really is an amazing housing for the price. The first one I had I used I actually found in the basement at my parents house. It had been sitting there for 10+ years and I did a leak test, still worked, and I used it to do surf photography for the first time. It did eventually split open at the side, but I did catch it before going in the water. It lasted a good 6 months which was amazing because it was at least 10 years old. So I bought another one! I loved the second one for a long time and my mistake was leaving it in the car in the heat :-( It shrunk because it got too hot in my trunk, then when I put the camera in it, the housing was soft and the side split open. My fault here for sure. So I bought another one, hahahaha :-) Moral of the story here is to just continuously do water checks for your housing, it is soft housing so just be aware of not leaving it in your car for a day when you aren't using it, but this has been such an amazing an affordable option for me until I can buy a proper water housing. The only downside is it is too hard to change the settings once the camera is in the housing. So I use masking tape to keep my lens set at infinity, then I set my aperture and shutter speed depending on the light, sometimes auto if it's one of those days, and then just go for it! I have taken some amazing photos and love love love how much I've learned to get creative with my settings because of the restriction of being able to change it in the moment :-) It gets 5 stars because for a tenth of the price I get to create amazing photos and enjoy surf photography! I don't have to wait to spend 2500+ on a housing to do what I want :-) And as with any type of water housing, there is always a risk of ruining your camera. I already lost one camera to the sea :-) But the joy of ocean photography is so worth it so I'm willing to jump into the possibility of doing it again! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine! 5

[64 GB] Purchased this for the specific need to dive in dark water that contains alligators. Was able to perform the necessary underwater inspection, without having to get wet or have an alligator watcher. The lights and camera, along with the stability mode made the inspection better than when I was diving the site myself. Haven't had to use the grabber claw yet, but did hook it up and confirm its functionality. If you need to know what's happening underwater this is a great entry into the world of ROV's. Easy to learn, easy to use. and safer than swimming with dinosaurs. 5

[328' / 100 m] Decided to get this over cheaper alternatives mainly due to:1) optical glass for better image quality2) adaptor to hold front of glass against your lens which really help in preventing any vignetting I do have previous experience using sports housings by aquatech for sports photography and got this more for casual beach side usage. Overall, am very satisfied by the quality of the housing and the images produced out of it. 5

[328' / 100 m] I received my Gladius mini from Bhphoto very promptly. It performs very well and is simple to operate. Although the visibility in my channel behind my home is only about two feet, the app gives alot of info as to what the ROV is doing. The Gladius Mini Will be amazing in open water in the Gulf of Mexico, or on our yearly Bahamas trip.
