HighPoint's 7500 Series combines dedicated PCIe Gen4 x16 host connectivity with RAID technology to deliver efficient storage performance. The dedicated PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface enables each NVMe SSD to interface directly with the system CPU to ensure maximum transfer performance and fast response times.

Unlike most PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage devices in today's marketplace, which are tied to a specific hardware platform or brand of SSD or motherboard, HighPoint SSD7500 series controllers are truly independent NVMe RAID solutions.

SSD7500 series controllers do not require motherboard platforms with bifurcation support, or any specialized software released by SSD manufactures; any AMD-based system with a dedicated PCIe 4.0 x16 slot can now take full advantage of this fast storage solution. In addition, SSD7500 series controllers are fully backwards compatible with Intel PCIe 3.0 platforms, enabling customers to take full advantage of advanced Gen4 storage media without migrating to a new computing environment.

Unique to HighPoint NVMe RAID solutions, RAID 1/0 (also known as RAID 10) requires a minimum of 4 NVMe SSDs. It will mirror the data of one striped array to a second, hidden striped array for security. RAID 1/0 is capable of delivering read performance on par with RAID 0, and is superior to RAID 5 for NVMe applications. Unlike RAID 5, RAID 1/0 doesn't necessitate additional parity related write operations, which reduces the TBW lifespan of NVMe SSDs.

Also known as a striped array, this mode delivers maximum performance and requires a minimum of two NVMe SSDs.

This mode creates a hidden duplicate of the target SSD, and requires two NVMe SSD' to configure. RAID 1 is good for bootable volumes.

The SSD7505 can be used to configure bootable RAID or single NVMe SSD configurations for Windows and Linux systems. Optional UEFI downloads and complete installation guides are available for each supported platform.

HighPoint 7500 Series NVMe RAID controllers will automatically recognize new NVMe SSDs as single drives- no configuration necessary. In addition, their comprehensive NVMe RAID stack enables each controller to support RAID multiple RAID 0, 1 or 10 arrays, or mixed configurations of single disks and RAID storage.

The Web RAID Management Interface (WebGUI) is a simple, intuitive web-based management tool and is ideal for customers who are new to RAID technology. The CLI (command line interface) is a powerful, text-only management interface designed for advanced users and professional administrators. Both interfaces were designed to streamline NVMe Storage Management. [Yes, RAID 0/1] It arrived a lot faster, initially it was going to take 4-6 weeks. The product is very well built, materials are very good quality. Adding drives was extremely easy. Connection to Mac Pro tower through SAS controller was easy. Everything about the product was absolutely fantastic. I will be filling it with 12tb drives, should make for a very nice storage array. Speeds are very nice as well.

[Yes, RAID 0/1] Bought this card to replace the other USB card which went bad. So far so good! Plug & play, speed of transfer is good specially with faster cards. Bluetooth interference in my is not an issue since I have extended the Bluetooth antenna on my Mac Pro 2012. You still need to eject the card before Mac goes to sleep otherwise you get the error massage. No other issues I have encountered so far.

[1.355 lb] I had an older LSI 9271-8i used for a 21TB RAID6 but only see between 20-40Mbps transfer rates. With this HighPoint RocketRAID I am now maxing out my 2Gbps network.

[1.355 lb] I have tested about 8 different drives for the Lenovo Legion Go and none have managed their thermals as well as this drive. Its speeds are great, and being a single sided NVME it is perfect the the Legion Go and I would think any other application that focuses on 2242 size drives. I will be buying more of these soon.

[1.355 lb] This is my 3rd RAID Tower from Highpoint. I started with a thunderbolt, upgraded to the thunderbolt 2 and now this one. Snappy response and pretty easy to setup, take your time and it’s start forward. B&H was great, I ordered and it was here in two days, safely packed!!! Thanks B&H!

[Full Height] I use it in my 2019 Mac Pro with 4x2TB m.2 SSDs from Samsung. The passive cooling works great, I see consistent write/read speed rates in continuous heavy use and the drive is silent.
