Q: 9. Does the A7r III ship with factory installed LCD protection? If so, does that have to be removed first before applying the PCK-LG1 protector, or can it be applied over it?

A: Actually, the camera does have a protective plastic over the LCD, the same that was on the A7Rii. From experience, it scratches like crazy. You can remove that protective cover if it gets scratched (not easy to peal back), clean the screen and then add the PCK-LG1. Or, just add the PCK now and protect things even more. There are Youtube videos that show how to do it.

Q: 10. Will this fit the A7Riii?

A: Just installed mine on a7r3, its a perfect fit. Watch out for dust. Clean hands, clean the camera. Squeeze out any bubbles. I had a couple of small, resistant bubbles - used a hair drier to warm screen up, kept at pushing bubbles out, ended up with perfect results. I was worried for a while, but they finally cleared.

[Dry Adhesion] I first ordered a soft screen protector which had to be cut to fit the screen of my X100T. Not a good product. After reading that others have used this screen protector on the X100T, I ordered it and gave it a try. Works Great! Please read the instructions and follow them to the letter, and you won't have any problems at all. There is almost no margin for error in installing the screen protector, so take your time and do it carefully. Fits perfectly and you can't even tell it's there. Scratch resistance is good. My only minor quibble is that it has a matte finish, but it doesn't seem to affect performance, and probably is better in bright sunlight. 5
