Use the Mevo Table Stand | Compact & Durable Camera Mountto securely position your Mevo Start or Plus camera on your desk, conference table, or any other flat surface. This three-section stand consists of a telescoping shaft and two ball head arms. It features an adjustable height of 13-24" and a hefty 3.9 lb weighted base.

Q: 1. Does the iOS control over zooming etc have to be on the same local network as the Mevo camera, or can I remotely control the Mevo of someone else over the internet?

A: The Mevo Start Live Streaming Camera can be controlled remotely via Live Production Mevo App once your camera is connected to a network. Zooming capabilities can be controlled directly through the Live production app.

Q: 2. So if trying to use this for football broadcast, how far away does the camera need to be to get 120 yards fully in the frame?

A: As the Mevo Start has a lens that is equivalent to about 29mm, it would need to be about 290 feet away from a football field to view 120 yards (360 feet) wide.

Q: 3. Will this work with a lavalier mic (no power of its own)?

A: You can provide continuous power for the Mevo Start Live Streaming Camera via the included USB cable when connected to a USB powered port or USB wall adapter.

Q: 6. Do they need to connect to the internet just to record, not streaming on Facebook or anything like that. Just record video only for later edit.

A: The Mevo Start will also allow direct recording to a Micro SD card and will not require internet access. You will need a smart device to connect directly to the camera for recording controls.

A: The sensor is 1/2.8" with a 6.46mm diagonal.

Q: 8. Would this be a good camera for evening/night owl video and is it weather sealed?

[4.8 lb] Compared to other offerings from Gaming brands, this feels just as solid and premium. Holds up my smaller camera great. I'll try out my larger cameras but I don't think it'll be a problem. 5

[3.9 lb / 1.8 kg] This mount is not special, and it is a straight forward piece to your desk setup. It does EXACTLY what it says it will do, and does it well. Very price friendly, and though the ball head area is a bit loosey goosey, once you tighten it, you're good! I recommend this item until you want something more expensive and does more than this! 5

[4.8 lb] This is very sturdy and it will hold your mic. I was going to use it for my Neumann U87 but it might be too heavy after a while, but Guess what? I paid less than $25 bucks for this. If you complain about this product, you are probably having a bad day, Peace 5

[4.8 lb] For the price you can't beat this, quality is superb, base is very high quality, lots of metal, nice black finish, works great with my Logitech cams, holds them steady and allows a lot of movement as desired and you can secure it firmly in place so it won't move. Don't pay 3 times more for the elgato, get this one! 5

[4.8 lb] We have two of these stands for our MEVO cameras and they work great. The weighted base keeps the camera from tipping and the arm on top allows for the camera to be adjusted to just about any angle. The main pole on the base is height adjustable from about 10 to 18 inches. If everything was extended and the articulating arm was straight up, the camera would sit at about 30 inches off the surface the stand was sitting on. 5
