A: hi david--i bought a set of qualites using this jcd lamp in june, 2009.i am still using the original bulbs that came with the lamps!in 2013 i bought some spares because i thought the bulbs must be at the end of their lives, but no, the originals are still going. i cannot tell you exactly how many hours i have on the bulbs, since i use the lamps on an irregular basis: but i use them several times a year for up to 4 hours per session...for 7 years now.

[CC-8] I needed to replace my Style 600 RX modeling lamps, but could not find the 23037 light specified in the manual. These 150W lights have the same wattage and socket style. They are working out well. I did not notice a difference. I was careful to avoid touching the bulb with my bare fingers, since that will reduce the bulb life significantly. I used the foam packing material to hold the bulb, and that worked well. 5
