Add an Arca-type plate to your 15mm LWS baseplate for the RED KOMODO with this Wooden Camera Arca Dovetail Plate for RED KOMODO 15mm LWSfrom Wooden Camera. This Arca-type dovetail camera plate mounts onto the RED KOMODO 15mm LWS Baseplate and features an integrated port that secures a vertical lens/lens adapter support post included with the Baseplate. One 1/4"-20 low-profile camera mounting screw and one 3/8"-16 low-profile camera mounting screw are included. Padding on top of the plate prevents twisting and scratching.

[RED KOMODO] Clips well in place. The three added D-Tap ports are a great addition when using lots of accessories. Nothing bad to say about it so far. Well made and batteries fit very well in place. Center of mass in perfectly centered with the camera even though it only clips on the left side of the battery mount. 5

[RED KOMODO] I use a Sony FX6 and needed lens support that would work with a wide range of lenses. I was using SHAPE UNIVERSAL LENS SUPPORT PRO but did not have enough clearance for the Sony PZ 28-135 the Wooden Camera Universal Lens Support solved this problem. The overall construction and quality are top-notch. 5

[0.12 lb] I don't understand all the negative reviews on this item. Our Komodo has been out on dozens of shoots, including multiple tv shows, music videos, commercials and feature films, and we've never had a problem with the baseplate. It feels very solid and works well. Yes, there isn't a safety pin to holds the dovetail in, but I generally find them to be irritating anyway. Just make sure to tighten it up properly and it's extremely solid. 5

[RED KOMODO] This is more than twice the price of other supports like the Tilta (which in my opinion looks very similar). The difference is that works with every lens in my kit or that I can imagine renting due to the set of included posts. Everything fits exactly, there are instructional videos for most of their products and their tech support is second to none. 5

[0.12 lb] The wooden camera nato rails work just like they should and are easy/smooth to use. I tried and returned the Bright Tangerine ones because you couldn't really slide on nato devices without two hands. These work just like every other nato rail you're used to with the added benefit of being timmyribs too. 5
