Gain flexibility in your underwater camera housing setup with the 8 to 10"ULTRAMAX Extendable Detachable Ball YS Mount Arm 8-10"from ULTRAMAX. With it, you can adjust the length of your light arm, or take the light end of the arm off to handhold it for particular angles. One end of the arm has a standard 1" mounting ball, the other has a standard YS connector.

A: Yes, Matthews' website and the Overview on our website both indicate the Matthews BH-30 Ball Head with 10 (25cm) Suction Cup Mount will support up to 39.6 lb (18 kg). The ball head suction cup mount itself weighs 6 lbs (2.72 kg).

Q: 5. can you attach it to a hot shoe on top of a dslr or mirrorless camera?

A: This product offers 1/4"-20 screws on both ends which is better suited for mounting to 1/4"-20 threads such as ones present on a camera cage.

A: Phantom power is for some microphones like condenser microphone to power it up.

A: No, the Vidpro Professional Skater Dolly Kit with Magic Arm and Extendable Handle does not have a 75mm bowl for the Sachtler Ace XL Fluid Head to mount to.

Q: 8. Can you link together to make 6 foot length?

A: No, this is not designed for extension.

Q: 9. Does the locking pin align with the SmallHD monitor pins? Most of my smallrig pins are too far off center to hit the hole.

A: If the locking pins on the Wooden Camera NATO Mount to Ball Head Ultra Arm v2 with 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 Combo do not line up, they can be removed. If this is not an option, something like the Kondor Blue Swivel and Tilt Monitor Mount with ARRI Style Mount might be a better fit. It incorporates a lip, instead of pins, to keep your monitor from swiveling.

Q: 10. Does the ball lock in place on this? If so, which lever/screw locks the ball position?

A: The upper lever, under the monitor, is the ball lock.

[0.195 lb] I usually use a longer arm of the same design, and really like it. This arm provides utility in some diving situations because of it's shorter length. There are several nearly, if not exactly, identical arms out there, and this one is less costly, so I rate it even higher. This is not the same as some arms called loc-line arms, and the loc-line arms are not as strong as this one. This arm is easy to use with DIY trays. 5

[0.195 lb] I have two of these for my monitors and getting a third today. These are the best, small ,simple adjustable and holds strong . I use them all the time . Set up and tear down is fast and simple best of all they don't take up much space. Super quality build . 5
