A: I have been using this item with Windows 10 which was upgraded from Windows 7 and it has been working flawlessly converting 8mm video cassette tapes nearly thirty years old which I have also uploaded to YouTube for viewing by family members across the country. It also allows for easy cutting and editing. I have not used it with VHS tapes but I see no reason why it wouldn't work just as well.

Q: 2. can I pause while recording and then continue to record with out interruption?

A: Sorry, this software cannot do that. Also we are not aware of any software that can. Basically, whenever you stop, the available software will start again with another clip.

Q: 3. I just received the FotodioX LED Studio-in-a-Box..How do I connect the lights to work..I got a LED 65W Power supply...but I don't know how to light up the tent..can you help me..?

A: Hi! It came there should be a cord/wire attached to the box itself that you connect the power supply/plug into.

Q: 4. Can I use this device to capture video from a Panasonic MiniDV camcorder?

A: Probably. I haven't tried this particular camera. I had a Canon Mini-DV and a Sony that worked fine with it. The technology should be the same.

Q: 5. It works with pal system?

A: Ive used it for NTSC, the U.S. standard. The software that came with it has the PAL option grayed out, and the B&H description only mentions NTSC. If I wanted to do PAL, I would buy the package from a U.K. site. Just dont expect it to do a standards conversion. Any DVDs made would be PAL, and need a PAL or multi-standard player.

A: The Pinnacle Dazzle adapter only has analog Composite Video and S-Video inputs. These signals are always standard definition and can not carry a high definition resolution. Additionally, a USB 2.0 port does not have the bandwidth to capture uncompressed HD video. If you have a USB 3.0 port and a camera that outputs an HD signal via an HDMI output, you can use a HDMI to USB 3.0 adapter such as the B&H # IN4K2USB3.
