[Yes, 2x 1 W] I bought this specifically because I wanted a 4x3 monitor with 1600x1200 resolution. Sadly, these seem to be as rare as hens' teeth in 2020. In any case, I found this one. It turns out that this is a truly excellent monitor. The illumination is as even as can be, edge to edge, corner to corner, without the edge discoloration that is sometimes seen on LCDs. The viewing angle is excellent, as this uses an IPS panel. The monitor and stand appear to be well-built, and I expect them to last for many years. Connectivity is good (Displayport, DVI, and VGA, all of which I need), and input switching is fast. My only complaint is the price, which is fairly insane in a world full of $200 monitors, but it is justified here because a) this is pretty much the only quality 4x3 1600x1200 monitor on the market right now and b) this is a very high-quality unit. 5

[IPS-Type LCD] I love this monitor! My previous monitor was a Dell Ultrasharp and I can tell the huge difference in quality. I also tried out an Asus Pro Art (PA278Q) and this is still way better. I'm sooo happy with it! This monitor has amazing uniformity in brightness and color plus all the features I need. Perfect for photo editing for web (in srbg color mode)! One thing I want to point out is to set your DV Mode to Standard. When I first turned on the monitor I noticed the brightness kept changing by going up and down. All the auto and sensor setting were off by default but I couldn't figure out what was causing it. Turns out the default DV Mode is Dynamic (which changes the brightness), change that to Standard and then it's all good. I really recommend that NEC sets Standard to default, it just makes better sense lol. 5

[23.8"] I found out about this brand by happenstance when I was watching a Youtube video about MS Office. I had never heard of it so I did a bit of research and found a lot of good reviews about it all around. I looked on B&H site and they had this model which suited my needs for home office and the price was just in the right ball park in comparison to other manufacturers. The monitor stand is the best I've seen so far with a lazy-susan type base. The main stand has a pivot point in the middle so that if you are standing you can easily tilt it to be parallel with your face for ergonomics. There is of course also height adjustment as one would expect. The best part of course is the picture quality. It is by far the best I have experienced from a business type monitor and I've used Samsung and other know brands. I highly recommend this model especially for its price point. You really get a lot for the money you spend in my opinion. 5

[1000:1] Eizo monitor is the best monitor for the eyes. Eizo EV2740x also provides 94W for my laptop, so I don't need to use another power adapter. 5

[23.8"] This monitor is shear perfection. No need for dual monitors with all the extra bezels and stands. One monitor elegantly does it all. I am a developer and love the extra screen space to have documentation in one window and code editors in other ones - no more window swapping and squeezing. Eizo monitors are spectacular and I have never had even one bad pixel with them since I started using them More than 20 years ago. BH delivered it in short time via freight - great experience. 5

[17.23 lb] This display is not for everyone, but if you need a flexible compact flat panel with above average color performance and better consistency across the entire display than you can typically from a lower cost unit, the EV-2450 delivers. Worth every penny. 5
