[Solid Wood] We bought this digital piano for our grand daughter and we were not dismayed as this piano does really have a superb sound and finish quality.. Assembling the piano was no hassle as the instructions were clearly describe by the manufacturer (Roland).. Also the delivery person was kind enough to place the package inside the garage.. [24.695 lb] Recently got this RP-107 as my son has started piano lessons and the acoustic pianos we looked at either were out of our price range or were not good quality and/or in need of repair. Plus, the cost of moving a piano as well as routine tunings factored into our decision to look at digital piano options. The key feel and the sound are incredible, next to impossible to tell the difference from an acoustic piano. I have not explored all the additional features this has as we are focused on learning basic piano right now, but I am sure those will be a great asset in the future. Note: instructions say not to set this on deep pile carpet as it may cause damage to the pedals when used. And it came with a piano bench in the package even though this is not listed as being included. The only part that feels a bit cheap is the music stand as it is plastic and does not fold down when not in use. I am sure this will be used for many years.

[22.1 lb / 10 kg] Really impressed with the sound, quality and feel of this piano. We hoped to find a piano that felt like an upright with the benefits of being digital and lighter in terms of overall weight, and this beautiful piano really exceeded expectations.

The default concert grand piano sound model is amazing, again, I don’t think I’ll ever want for more.

The look and feel is more like a nice piece of furniture rather than a keyboard in the corner of the room. It can be a centerpiece. I love the sliders, the tactile switches, the clean overall appearance. The wood is MDF/particle board so treating it with care is probably important.

The speaker output volume can go louder than I’m willing to listen to it. It maintains good sound across the volume range where I’ve used it.

The headphones are OK. The sound is quite good to me but I prefer softer ear pads. I’m not sure I’d want to wear them all day.

The bench feels a touch high to me. Maybe this is because I’ve not used a *real* piano bench in many years. I’m a 6’ tall guy with average proportions.

For the price I think a glass music stand would be a nicer touch than the acrylic, and less likely to scratch, though I’m happy with what they shipped.

The app is just OK. There is a lot of untapped potential and I don’t want to have to create an account in order to use it with the keyboard I paid for. The accompaniments for jazz are lackluster, though I’ve found this to be the case on every keyboard I have experienced.

A bigger headphone hook seems prudent to me as well, I’ll buy something after market.

Overall I’m ecstatic with my purchase.

[24.695 lb] I did a lot of research to find a good solid, electronic piano for my wife who has a degree in classical music. She really loves this piano and we hope to enjoy it for many years to come.

[Solid Wood] Of the adjustable benches, the Rolands caught my eye. I like the look of the 5 series the best and got a duet so that my wife could sit next to me. I've been using it for a few weeks and am very happy with it. The storage compartment is not very deep, but is still very useful. I have a satin piano but only the polished is available. It looks just fine.

[24.695 lb] Watched many review views and really liked the Roland RP701 for its sound and looks. I was not comfortable spending this much on other online retailers but trusted B&H with this type of order. The piano only has a few screws and steps, installation took about an hour. The rosewood is almost black but with a wood texture. Really beautiful finish. It was shipped very quickly and was very well packaged - lots of sturdy cardboard and some styrofoam. I am an adult beginner and the keys feel very close to a classical grand piano. I love that it has so many ports and combines a classical feel with the comforts of 2022 technology, even supporting two pairs of headphones at the same time. It also comes with Bluetooth connections for both in and out. It fits great in small spaces and doesn't need to disturb the neighbours. It has many modes, even songs in its memory, has a metronome and it can be used as a very cool Bluetooth speaker. The mobile app from Roland is probably not the best, but you can use other apps.

[22.1 lb / 10 kg] This is an elegant piano bench which is sturdy and comfortable to sit on. The storage space is small but nice for some sheet music or a few books. Not sure I'll use the raise feature but it does raise up. Well built. Looks like it will last a long time.
