Q: 1. What is the difference in sound and/or action between the KDP120R and KDP75R?

A: They esentially sound the same with the same action. The 120 has a louder speaker system and a third snesor on the keys for more accurate response. "Triple-Sensor Key Detection The accurate 3-sensor technology provides a smooth, natural, and highly responsive piano-playing experience. The added third sensor improves responsiveness when playing the same key repeatedly. Kawai’s action technology also monitors the speed at which each key is lifted, influencing the release character of piano sounds and providing a greater range of expression between staccato and legato playing."

[31.285 lb] When recently updating my 15 year old Yamaha Clavinova to the new CVP-809, I was surprised that Yamaha no longer supplies a 29 bench with storage compartment. They only supply a 22 bench without a storage compartment. The On-Stage Deluxe was the solution for me. The construction is all quality; it was easy to assemble and the satin black finish is a satisfactory match to my CVP-809's flat black finish. The shipping from B&H was prompt via Fed EX. Highly recommended when you're needing a bench with a bit more seating room.

[28.7 lb / 13 kg] Of the adjustable benches, the Rolands caught my eye. I like the look of the 5 series the best and got a duet so that my wife could sit next to me. I've been using it for a few weeks and am very happy with it. The storage compartment is not very deep, but is still very useful. I have a satin piano but only the polished is available. It looks just fine.

[28.7 lb / 13 kg] We have purchased this bench for our Auditorium grand which is used by several pianists/accompanists. The frustration with our mechanical turn the nobs to raise/lower bench is that each of us sets a different height for comfort. This bench turns a minute log task into a one second event - and zero frustration. And, this was so comparatively cost friendly. Happy!

[31.285 lb] So far, it seems like nice solid build quality with a good amount of height adjustability. Comfortable to sit on for average weight person, though the seat cushion is not as thick as a larger "concert" style bench. But also not as heavy and bulky. Some of the more traditional seats are heavy enough to cause back problems if moved incorrectly, so I appreciate how light (but solid) this seat is. Leg assembly was simple, but I had to remove some plastic sleeves around the bolts. Simple enough to do, but no mention of the sleeves in the instructions made me question it at first.

[28.7 lb / 13 kg] This thing is pretty good. Minimal assembly required (attaching the legs), with hardware and wrench supplied. I opened the box and let it outgas the chemical fumes for a few days before assembly. Wobbles very slightly, but not when someone is actually sitting on it. Got it for my wife for her bathroom. Height adjustment is simple, quick and stable. I would recommend this to a friend.

[28.7 lb / 13 kg] This is an elegant piano bench which is sturdy and comfortable to sit on. The storage space is small but nice for some sheet music or a few books. Not sure I'll use the raise feature but it does raise up. Well built. Looks like it will last a long time.

[31.285 lb] Recently got this RP-107 as my son has started piano lessons and the acoustic pianos we looked at either were out of our price range or were not good quality and/or in need of repair. Plus, the cost of moving a piano as well as routine tunings factored into our decision to look at digital piano options. The key feel and the sound are incredible, next to impossible to tell the difference from an acoustic piano. I have not explored all the additional features this has as we are focused on learning basic piano right now, but I am sure those will be a great asset in the future. Note: instructions say not to set this on deep pile carpet as it may cause damage to the pedals when used. And it came with a piano bench in the package even though this is not listed as being included. The only part that feels a bit cheap is the music stand as it is plastic and does not fold down when not in use. I am sure this will be used for many years.
