[20 to 60x] By far the best spotting scope I own. I have a
Leupold GR 20-60x80 (straight) and a Vortex Razor HD 27-60x85 (Angled) and the Meopta MeoPro HD has better clarity than the Leupold and the Vortex is absolute junk compared to the Meopta. On a clear day with no Mirage I can spot my 6.5 cal bullet holes at 1000 yards. On a bad day with lots of mirage I, can still spot my bullet holes on paper at 700 yards. Not sure how Meopta makes such a Top Tier Optic at such a good price but I am just blown away with the quality !!! By the way, dont look any further, B&H has the best price on any optic, hands down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Angled] I mainly use this scope for long distance shooting. The clarity is amazing and the huge objective lens transmits a enormous amount of light through. It is definitely possible to use this scope up until last light and spot trace. The reason I am writing this review is because I recently had my zoom ring lock up after almost two years of light use. I sent the scope into Meopta and within a couple of weeks they sent me an entirely new spotting scope. I am very appreciative of how Meopta took care of me and am very satisfied with this scope.

[80 mm] After extensive research, I settled on this spotting scope. In its class, for a mid-tier spotting scope, it is head and shoulders above the rest. I bought this for wildlife viewing in the national parks and I am so glad that I bought this one! The glass is excellent with edge to edge clarity. The center focus ring on the body has just the right resistance and I found it to be very smooth, contrary to some other reviews. It comes with a great limited lifetime warranty. B&H includes a great (and free) carbon-fiber tripod for it for the same price ($1,389) that Amazon offers for just the scope without the tripod. I was also very happy with the tripod which is branded Meopta but i think is probably made by Manfrotto. The tripod head exchange directions are a bit vqgue. To take off the ball-head and put the fluid head on, just twist off the ball-head counter-clockwise , turn it upside down and use the smaller allen wrench (included) to insert in the headless screw on the bottom-end of the ball-head to separate the top from the bottom . You can then mount the appropriate end onto the tripod center rod and then attach the fluid head. I lost 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back figuring that out. Aside from that B & H offers a great deal for a quality scope. I highly recommend this spotting scope-buy it you'll like it1

[80 mm] Went to Yellowstone. Tons of scopes all watching a grizzly bear. For the price I love mine over a bunch of others. Would easily buy it again. Love the wide eyepiece. Better than the vortex. I am very impressed. The free tripod is awesome as well. Very sturdy. Not great for hiking but just out of the car it is awesome. Very pleased with my purchase. I have purchased several $300+ scopes. Just buy this scope and you will love it. Can see everything so much better. Even canyons away. Awesome!!

[1/4"-20 Female] This is every bit of the quality spotting scope that I was expecting after reading numerous professional reviews. I took my scope out today for the first time after first spending way too much time trying to figure out the vague directions on how to change out the ball head to the panning (fluid) head that came with the tripod. Unlike some buyer reviews, I was amazed at this scope's performance after looking at pelicans resting on pilings at 300 yards away, boaters across the bay through the range of magnifications then I looked at the the fine details of houses about 2.5 miles away on the shore of Pensacola Bay. I spent a lot of time researching mid-tier scopes that sport quality optics. This is it. I found the focus ring that some reviewers had issues with, to be smooth with just the right resistance one would expect from a quality optic. I bought this scope primarily for wildlife viewing in the national parks and this scope does not disappoint. This was a great value coupled with the free carbon fiber tripod which I think is probably made by Manfrotto for Meopta. I do wish Meopta would refine their instruction manual that came with the tripod to explain how exactly you change out the ball head with the panning head that came with it. For those who have the same struggle with that, you have to first twist off the ball head counter clockwise as per the instructions. (They basically leave you hanging at that point.) You then have to turn the ball head upside down and use the smaller allen wrench that came with the accessories for the tripod and unscrew the headless screw on the bottom to separate the bottom part of the ball head. You will then use the appropriate part from that separation to attach to the top of the center post that will accept the fluid head. Good luck! As a parting note, I've done business before with B&H and I've always been happy. Thank you B&H for another great value!

[Porro (BAK4)] Have Five of the Meopta rifle scopes and have never been disappointed. This scope is a little heavy but the quality is from back to front, the resolution is something you would expect from a much more expensive scope. you defiantly get you moneys worth.

[18.0 mm] Great spotting scope for the price! The view is crystal clear and even out to long distances and under higher zoom. Eye relief and light gathering with the 80mm lense is outstanding. This is one of the best units you can get for the price.

[20 to 60x] Since I was new to Meopta, I was a bit apprehensive about its performance capabilities. But the specs don't lie and I feel that I got more for the money. Once on A tripod, I was at max magnification on a deer at over 1000 meters. I could count each point on it's antlers. Any negative reviews is really hard to believe after using it myself.
