Q: 1. I have the Tilta Nucleus-M. Can this be connected to those motors?

A: We're afraid not. According to Tilta this handle can only control the Nano motor.

Q: 2. 1 photo has a focus wheel. How does that work if USB-C is plugged from P6kPro into Samsung T5? LANC?

A: The battery in the handle is meant to be used to power a Tilta Nucleus Nano motor. The fingerwheel controls said motor. The USB-C on the camera is then free to be used for the Samsung T5.

Q: 3. Hi there. How is this any different to a regular, run-of-the-mill usbc cable?

A: Yes, the Tilta Tiltaing Advanced Side Handle Run/Stop Cable for USB-C Port Cameras is tested to handle start/stop protocol and has power regulation built in.

Q: 4. Can I use stop start button for a GH5 and focus wheel at the same time? Or is it either one or the other?

A: Yes. Both can be manipulated at the sometime.

Q: 5. Does this control the Nano II focus motor?

A: The Tilta Tiltaing Advanced Side Handle Run/Stop Cable for USB-C Port Cameras is not compatible with the Tilta Nucleus Nano II FIZ Lens Control Motor Kit. You can not use it to pull focus with the Tilta Nucleus Nano II FIZ Lens Control Motor.

Q: 6. Can this be mounted on the tilta half cage for bmpcc4k?

A: no this will not mount on the half cage because there are no hole to secure the Anti twist pins on this unit to that particular cage

Q: 7. Can I attach a Tilta Nucleus Nano controller on the shoe mount?

A: It is possible but we do not recommend it. Tilta offers side handles like this that have the ability to control the Nucleus Nano built in already (see BH #TIALFH657B • MFR #TA-LFH6-57-B). Using something with built in controls would be far more intuitive than attaching the controller to the handle. A: You will need a NATO rail to connect the Tilta Right-Side Advanced Focus Handle Type VI to the BMPCC 6K Pro.

Q: 9. Will this work with any cage with either NATO Rail or Arri Rosette?

A: This grip can be attached to any cage as long as you purchase a mounting accessory. We recommend the Tiltaing Advanced Right-Side Handle Adapter Type VI (Black) B&H # TITAAHA6RB MFR # TA-AHA6-R-B

[1x USB-Type C] It's a solid grip but make sure it's the right one for you. There are several different ones to choose. This is primarily just a grip for the cage. 5

[0.07 lb] Nice grip, good ergonomics, focus ring travel is just the right amount. Putting on the rosette mount is a bit of a pain and requires the included angled Allan key, so don't loose that one. 5

[1x USB-Type C] After trying the side handle by portkeys I've ended my journey with the advanced side handle with RS. Portkeys had a great handle I almost kept but there were a few reasons I decided to return that for this. First being it was very confusing system. It worked well with pocket 6k because of the Bluetooth. But the fact I couldn't pair with my pocket 6k and have my portkeys LH5P monitor made me have to pick between the monitor and the handle. I kept the monitor and went with this Tilta. And I'm really glad I did. The focus motor is designed for focusing. The wheel is dampened and it feels solid. And this system is much more versatile as I can use this on pretty much any small to medium sized cine lens. The RS button works exactly as it should. You do need the optional cable which i can't understand why is $30. But all in all Tilta is the best rig accessories "company" while I believe small rig is the best at making cages and rig parts. If your Legos kinda guy then go smallrig. But Tilta makes products you need. Like this one. 5
