A: This light was designed to work with the Elinchrom Rotolight transmitters. We do not yet have it in stock to test it with third party transmitters. But if it will work with third party triggers you will need a transmitter and receiver that would send and receive the signal and may be limited to 1/200th of a second shutter speed.

TL;DR if you're worrying that this won't work because Avid says you can't upgrade, don't. I bought this as a leap of faith, and that leap paid off. If you're reading this review, you're already a Sibelius user of some sort, so I won't get into how awesome Sibelius itself is. I want to concentrate on the upgrade aspect because that's what gave me pause. I have a paid version of the regular Sibelius and was looking for a way to upgrade to Ultimate because I find the regular version too limiting. I contacted Avid directly, and they told me there was no upgrade path and I would have to start from scratch by purchasing a full version of Ultimate or going with their $20/mo plan. While I was waiting for their response, I looked around and found this listing. I absolutely trust B&H, so I figured that if they were offering an upgrade, it had to be legit. There were eBay listings for the same thing, but those are often sketchy, but B&H is 100% trustworthy. Anyway, I bought it, got the email with the license key, and was able to activate Ultimate without an issue. I simply put in the new license key along with my existing system ID and license key and it switched it over. It comes with a year of free updates, and you can purchase 3 years from Avid for the same price ($199) that you would pay for a year under their monthly plan. 5

I was able to enroll 100 chromebooks no problem and manage them though the admin console. I would recommend a little more direction with the form that was sent after we made the purchase as it was fill in the blank without descriptions. Also phone support was very helpful with resolving this. 5

This camera is powerful and does everything I need. It is only using 4% of its zoom capabilities from 100 feet away, and sees everything day or night. It is a case of you get what you pay for and this has been worth every penny. 5

Really impressed by AXIS and this new camera dedicated to LPR. It captures plates at high speeds and compared to other AXIS cameras this one requires no image configurations. This camera is built for LPR, day or night and for very high speed. For me, moving to this camera has improved my night time capture from 10% to 95%. Using this in conjunction with OpenALPR provides a cheap LPR solution that works excellent for us. 5
