The angled-viewing Endeavor XF 15-45x60 Spotting Scope from Vanguard combines a nitrogen-filled magnesium housing and a fully multi-coated optical path to create a lightweight zoom optic for intermediate- to long-range observation. Vanguard equipped the Endeavor XF series with phase-corrected BAK4 prisms, which maximize color fidelity and produce contrast-rich images.

In addition to the image quality and weather-sealed construction, the Endeavor XF includes several features that enhance the scope's functionality. This version of the Endeavor XF spotting scope has a 15-45x zoom eyepiece that features a comfortable 19mm eye relief and twist-up rubber eyecup. The tripod mounting foot has a standard 1/4"-20 socket and is compatible with Vanguard tripods that accept the universal mounting shoe. An integrated sunshade and included custom-fit raincoat carrying case help to make the Endeavor XF a well-equipped spotting scope for outdoor use.

A: Since the Vanguard VEO PA-62, attaches to the eyepiece, (of any binocular or monocular), that has a diameter between 1.6 to 1.8" wide, the Vanguard Endeavor HD 15-45x65 Spotting Scope (Angled Viewing) is compatible.

A: Sorry , won,t fit. Shoe of spot scope is too small.

A: The front is threaded although the lens cap says 84 diameter. Don't have a filter to actually test size with however.

Q: 10. does this scope come with a camera adapter? If not, can I get one for it?

A: This scope does not come with a camera adapter. My apologies. We would need to know what camera you have to recommend the proper camera adapter to digiscope.

[60 mm] Used my scope out at the range at 100yds. No problem at this distance in seeing holes from my 308. I ended up having to scope for the chap next to me. Next day was the real test, at 215yds. In the rough we set up targets and ounce again no problem. I'm truly happy with everything from dealing with B&H and talking to Vanguard for helping me choose this scope. 5

[15 to 45x] I am very happy with this purchase. The optics are very clear. I have a friend that has a spotting scope that costed 3x this much. I would recommend checking this one before spending the extra money on those far more expensive units. 5

[15 to 45x] The glass is VERY clear! Solid construction and I am very pleased I compared this in low light to the Viper HD and I could not find any difference. You can see the rings of Saturn and this is the best scope for for the price and beats many of higher price points too. 5

[15 to 45x] Great spotting scope for the price! The view is crystal clear and even out to long distances and under higher zoom. Eye relief and light gathering with the 80mm lense is outstanding. This is one of the best units you can get for the price. 5

[60 mm] Finally got a trip to the range today to try out the scope for its intended use. Longest range at or club is 200 yards and it was very easy to see .223 size holes on white paper at that distance. Scope gives a very sharp image at low to mid magnification. At 60X the .223 holes were all visible, but a bit blurry; backing down the magnification to around 45-50X really sharpened up the image, while still making the target very easy to see. One thing that really helped was the Tripod that Vanguard provided free as part of a rebate; it was not a chintzy freebee they were giving away, but a very stable high quality tripod with dampened video panning head that made it easy to manipulate to find the target and to hold it in place when locked. I am glad that I spent the money for a scope of this quality vs. an entry level unit (this is my first scope), so I avoided having to do a re-do in short order. You get what you pay for in quality glass. B&H had the best pricing by far on this scope; catching the tripod rebate going on was icing on the cake. Highly recommended! 5

[60 mm] I have other spotters, some larger and some smaller but this one seems to be just the right size for range and field work. Quality is spot on and fit and finish are great . For the price range this is a great buy and you won't be sorry. The only thing is I wish it took a T-Mount for a camera instead of having to but and addition to it but that's such a minor thing so it's not a deal breaker . 5

[Angled] I wanted a reasonably compact spotting scope for using at the range. This thing works great for that purpose. It has a quality bag to haul it back and forth and protect it when not in use. The image quality is clear and the construction of the unit seems robust. No complaints at all. 5

[19.0 to 20.0 mm] Strong construction, clear optics. Vanguard Endeavor replaced a Nikon of lower power w/just as clear optics in my opinion. 5
