The MCrane1 Microphone Suspension Crane Arm 2-Packfrom MCrane1 Microphone Suspension Crane Arm 2-Packis a spring-loaded suspension arm that can support a microphone with a shockmount/holder, and a microphone pop filter. The MCrane1 arm can be used in several environments for voiceover, podcast, and radio or DJ applications. A: Mounting will not be an issue in your case and the arm should be able to handle up to about 2 lbs with no problem.

Q: 3. My microphone has a square bottom, will it hold snug or is it only for circular microphones?

A: The arm will support your microphone and the included mic clip is removable so you can use a shock mount or a different mic clip that works to hold your microphone. Without knowing which microphone you have, it is difficult to say exactly what you will need. Q: 4. What is the difference between the proaim 10' wave 2 and the proaim 10' waqve 2 plus ?

A: The Proaim Wave-2 Plus comes with more accessories. Both are the same jib. The Plus will come with Proaim Portable Dolly, Proaim Lanc Zoom Controller, Proaim Sr. Pan-Tilt Head, and 12V Joystick Controller. It's the complete package.

A: Yes. This MCrane1 arm uses a common 5/8" microphone threading. The Blue Snowball mic has a compatible female thread for it. For better isolation from vibrations in your desk, you could also consider the Blue Ringer shockmount (optional).

A: The only dimensions published are the arm length. Which is Arm Length 27.6" / 70.0 cm. The load capacity is 2.5lbs.

A: Yes, the threading is compatible. For best results it is recommended to use the Blue Yeti Shock Mount with this arm.

Q: 10. That picture seems to be incorrect... is this item the real k tek k gpss that would be compatible with a hypercardioid like the schoeps cmcmk41?

A: This is the real K-Tek GPSS mount. What seems to be grayed out in the photo is the swivel mount which features a 3/8 -16 threading for mounting. the suspension points on the GPSS are spaced at 2 inches.

[3/8"-16 Male] When it arrive in a small box I was worried...I was like I hope B&H did not send me something I did not order. Opened it and sure it was. Looks smaller than expected but when setup it looks light and solid. Will be getting more. 5

[3/8"-16 Male] The suspension crane replaces a mic stand and boom and takes no floor space. Its idea for my home studio setup. I have a fairly heavy mic on the arm and the crane supports it well without sagging. 5

[3/8"-16 Male] This suspension arm works smoothly and holds position firmly, yet is easy to move/adjust the position of the mic. The base clamp is particularly important, as so many suspension arms will skimp on the clamp, using a plastic one that will break in short order, or a sheet metal one that is tack welded and will also break. This clamp is a solid machined or die cast piece. It will not break during normal use and should last the life of the arm. Minor gripe: the head only comes with a European 3/8 thread, so an adapter to take it to the standard thread size of domestic mic mounts is needed, if youre going to use this with a studio condenser mic and not the vocal mic for which the provided mic holder is designed. It would have been ideal to provide both options out of the box, as most people use studio condenser mics nowadays. Such a good deal at B&H, so I bought two. 5

[Black] It's a plain simple mic boom that attached to your desk. It keeps the mic out of the way until you need it. It also came with several mounting adapters including a very nice shock mount. I'm very pleased. 5

[1.22 lb] Whoever wrote that this is garbage must have gotten a defect or is trying to hold a heavy mic. I'm using it with a Marantz USB mic and it is very stable! I should have bought 2 or 3 when it was the B&H Deal but I wanted to be sure it was worth it, and it is. I paid half the retail price. I'm sure it will hold all of my hand held dynamic mics and I wouldn't be surprised if it could hold a lighter weight large diaphragm condenser mic. Even the regular price is cheaper than similar products at M....F..... and S....W.... Buy this, you will be satisfied and B&H will take care of you, if you're not. 5

[Black] I love this piece. The Boom is great for hands-free speaking. I can create videos, participate in Zoom calls, and class and take notes and everything. My old boom sat on the desk and was always in the way, this one allows more flexibility in performance and it avails me the ability to have room to do other things. The only complication I'm having with it is likely user error. The end of the boom, where the mic goes, tends to fall over, but again, I think that's user error and being in a hurry to hook it all up. Otherwise, this is one of the best pieces I've bought to complete this portion of the studio. Next, is a new tripod for the camera :) 5

[Black] Clamps to desk, moves around, holds a mic, exactly what I wanted. Very affordable. It's obviously an entry level mic arm, but for somebody like me that doesn't move the mic much, it's perfect. Would be nice to have cord holders or something, but that is an easy work around with little magnetic clips or whatever. It was nice to get rid of my previous mic stand, which sat on the desk in front of me and made typing difficult. 5
