Q: 5. Is this cover a full frane camera? Or is a super 35 camera lens?

A: Yes.

Q: 6. Since this is a manual lens, how does the camera know what aperture you set the lens at so it could then set the shutter speed accordingly?

A: Fujifilm X-mount cameras have a TTL (through-the-lens) light meter inside the camera that measures the amount of light entering the camera and illuminating the sensor. While the camera will not be able to adjust the aperture on lenses that do not have electronic contacts for communication between the camera and lens, the light meter can still read the amount of light entering the camera and choose an appropriate shutter speed to obtain what the camera determines to be the correct exposure. It is still recommended to set the mode of the camera to either Aperture-priority [A] or Manual [M] when using a fully-manual lens on a Fujifilm X-mount camera.

Q: 9. Hi, will this lens fit a EOS Canon RP? Thanks!

A: The TTArtisan 35mm f/1.4 Lens for Canon RF will fit on the Eos RP camera but it is only made from crop sensor cameras. The camera should be set to crop mode in order to prevent vignetting the image but this would result in a lower resolution image. This 7 Artisans 35mm lens would be a better option for the RP: https://bhpho.to/3MHmPr2

[f/16] The size and lens formula looked interesting, very classic! Honestly, I was not expecting much... It is a very simple lens, it becomes 70mm in M43. I was very impressed with the lens, it is so beautiful!!

The make is very solid, see attached image.

[f/1.4] The lens is very light but functions well. The dial is particularly smooth and textured when focusing. But the aperture function needs to be improved, the smallest aperture of about 2.0 will not be purple, but further small adjustments will appear purple edge. I don't know how to solve it yet. But 2.0 aperture is also enough to use. Overall very satisfied! The price is very low! Will continue to buy other lenses from them.

[45°] I wasn’t expecting much but actually is pretty good. Nice amorous makes it a breeze to focus on my CL. Even wide opens pretty sharp esp in the center with a little softness. Stopped down to f2.8 it’s really good and contrasts. Only flaw is the hard stop is a little past infinity. Do get a screw in hood though.
A bargain at twice the price and makes me want to look at their other lenses.

[Manual Focus] This is a great lens.
I'm using it on the Canon m200. It is very well-made and compact. This is my favorite manual lens so far. I have plans to order the 50 mm.

[0.8 lb] I bought this on a lark to use with a Leica CL camera and was surprised at how nicely sharp it is, especially when stopped down to f2.0 and beyond. Love the size and the feel as well. I liked it so much I also bought the 17mm version. Note: it covers APS-C format but not full frame. You have been warned....

[39 mm (Front)] Bought this lens on a whim. Although it's a Micro Four Thirds lens, it covers APS-C size sensors like the Z Cam E2-S6 with a Micro Four Thirds Mount. Crazy to think that this tiny lens can do it.

At $73, it's an absolute steal. The build quality is full metal and although it's semi soft wide open at F/1.4, it looks very cinematic on a modern day 4K or 6K sensor like the BMPCC4K or ZCam S2-E6 Super 35 camera.

[Nikon Z] This lens not only looks great, it's built like a tank. It instantly reminds you of a vintage high quality film lens of yesteryear. Image quality is great too. This lens is super sharp wide open and better when stopped down. Sunstars are also of excellent quality. Distortion is well controlled too. The only con really noticeable with this lens is high levels of chromatic aberration when shooting against brightly lit subjects. Everything has a bright purple fringe. A quick click in Photoshop will eliminate that flaw. One thing I can complain about is the infinity mark. Infinity arrives slightly before the infinity mark, so test before trusting the lens marking. This lens produces some interesting flare. Depending on how you use it, the flare will be either creatively beautiful or painfully distracting. Bokeh is lovely and creamy too. For the price, then lens is easily the best value around, followed by the TTartisan 50mm.
