Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this compatible with Pentax K70?

A: The Hoya 62mm R72 Infrared Filter is compatible with the K70. As for results it will vary depending on settings and the scene/shot.

Q: 2. Key Features states that this product is compatible with Step-Up rings, but is it also compatible with Step-Down rings? Specifically, will it work with a 62-58mm Step-Down Ring?

A: No it will not. Key Features: Compatible with Moment Lenses Compatible with 62mm Filters Compatible with Step-Up Rings Add ND, UV, and Circular Polarizers

Q: 3. Is this filter (Nikon 95mm Circular Polarizer Filter II) multicoated?

A: I checked the Nikon manual for the filter and it is silent on multi-coating (generic filter foldout is provided). A competing website for B&H says that it is. Nikon's website is also silent. So I cannot say for sure. I am happy with the filter, the glass is exceptional using it on a new Nikon 200-500. Please note that it is exceptionally thin, spinning the CPL piece is easy while get it on and off the lens takes some care as I have big hands.

Q: 4. How many stops of light should we compensate for with this lens?

A: The Hoya R72 Infrared Filter blocks about 5-6 stops.

Q: 5. Will this fit a Yashica A TLR? The lenses on the A are not the same size, and this cap looks like both covers are the same size.

A: Hello- This will not fit(for later bayonet lens). I have been looking as well. The Yashica A has 2 32mm diameter lens'. I purchased 2 32mm lens caps and they work fine. Another option is to get the 32mm rifle scope caps that flip up. You will need 2.

Q: 6. Will this work for a Yashica 24? Thanks!

A: There are different versions of the Yashica 24. If the one you have has a Bay1/Bay-30 filter connection it should fit.

Q: 7. Will this fit a Yashica Mat LM?

A: Yes, this cap should be compatible.

Q: 8. i have a question can I used it with rhinoshield lens to add moment filter

A: No. RhinoShield lenses require RhinoShield cases.

Q: 9. Does this filter work with the Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 STM Lens?

A: Yes this 43mm filter is compatible with that lens.

Q: 10. Does lens also have anti-reflective coatings and how many?

A: Unfortunately no, it is not multicoated. This version is the coated version by Sigma: https://bhpho.to/2YVgoZm

[0.1 lb] At first, I couldn't tell if anything was happening when I put it onto my camera lens- but after taking a few shots in different lighting circumstances, it is most noticeable when taking photos or filming harsh light. It creates a halo like effect, and softens the strong light, creating this fluffed up cloud like mist around the object that is shining. I would like to find a softone filter lens that can accomplish this but in a stronger degree as well, to continue on my path in playing with lens filters. Overall, this is a really nice lens to have for its price, to create a dreamy and sentimental type of atmosphere invoked in your work.

[0.1 lb] Easy to attach, results on film are good. My only nit is that I can't attach a lens hood... you have to use one or the other, the filter or the hood.

[0.1 lb] My first time using a split-field diopter. For an incredibly low price, this let me understand and get used to the idiosyncrasies of such a lens. Not the sharpest screw on diopter lens I've ever used, but is in a rotating mount and, with a step-up ring I was able to get the 58mm lens on to my FZ-1000 Lumix. I'd heartily recommend this to anyone interested in this type of effect.
