The Tilta Right-Side Advanced Power Handle, in black, attaches to the right side of Tiltaing camera cages using your choice of an optional rail/rosette mounting bracket—Tilta Right-Side Adapter Type IV, V, or VI. The handle accepts a Sony F570 battery (sold separately) and features two power outputs for running accessories off the battery. It offers an 8V USB Type-C output port and 12 VDC port. In addition to this, the Advanced Power Handle provides a run/stop button for controlling record start/stop on compatible cameras over an optional R/S cable connection.

A: According to Tilta MFR #TA-SH3-97-G will not work with MFR #TA-SH3-97-G as the cable size is too large. You will need a LP-E6 to 3.5/1.35mm DC Male Dummy Battery for that handle. The 12V port up regulates and the dummy battery down regulates so you will have the correct voltage for an LP-E6. https://bhpho.to/38kfDcP

Q: 7. Can an angelbird SSD work instead of the samsung T5?

A: Not that we are aware of. This is designed specifically to hold a Samsung T5, which has a different body design.

Q: 8. Could I use a lp-e6 dtap battery to control this from the v mount on my camera rig?

A: no the Lpe6 dummy battery will not work

Q: 9. Will this work with Nucleus M? Or only the Nano version?

A: This does not have a D-Tap output to feed the Nucleus M. It is really geared for the Nano only.

Q: 10. Can this be mounted on the right side too? All photos show it on the left side and no mention if its swappable, but there seem to be holes on the other side indicating it might be flippable?

[Remote Trigger] It's a solid grip but make sure it's the right one for you. There are several different ones to choose. This is primarily just a grip for the cage. 5

[0.55 lb] After trying the side handle by portkeys I've ended my journey with the advanced side handle with RS. Portkeys had a great handle I almost kept but there were a few reasons I decided to return that for this. First being it was very confusing system. It worked well with pocket 6k because of the Bluetooth. But the fact I couldn't pair with my pocket 6k and have my portkeys LH5P monitor made me have to pick between the monitor and the handle. I kept the monitor and went with this Tilta. And I'm really glad I did. The focus motor is designed for focusing. The wheel is dampened and it feels solid. And this system is much more versatile as I can use this on pretty much any small to medium sized cine lens. The RS button works exactly as it should. You do need the optional cable which i can't understand why is $30. But all in all Tilta is the best rig accessories "company" while I believe small rig is the best at making cages and rig parts. If your Legos kinda guy then go smallrig. But Tilta makes products you need. Like this one. 5

[Remote Trigger] Although I haven't used it for long, I absolutely love this handle. The possibility of having the focus on the tip of your finger while holding the camera is incredible, and a game changer for handheld camera. Im pairing with the nano motor and so far it works good. I wish there was a way to revert the direction of the focus knob, in case I need to rig the motor on the right side of the camera. 5

[0.55 lb] Nice grip, good ergonomics, focus ring travel is just the right amount. Putting on the rosette mount is a bit of a pain and requires the included angled Allan key, so don't loose that one. 5
