So among PL mounted lenses and cameras, there is no change in the field of view or magnification. As near as I know, there is no full frame PL mount camera so you will never see a difference among PL mount Super35 cameras while using PL mount lenses. (An exception of course is if you go to a camera with a PL mount but with a smaller sensor than Super35.)I strongly suggest that using crop factor or lens magnification as tools be dropped. Just learn what the wide-normal-tele lens mm's are for each camera you are using. For me it makes no sense wasting time calculating for a format you are not using.

In other words, it could be used but you would need to provide a great deal of lens support.
