The Aputure LS 600d Pro LED Monolight V-Mountfrom Aputure LS 600d Pro LED Monolight V-Mountis a powerful COB LED fixture with expansive power, control options, and output comparable to a 1200W HMI, augmented by its 55° Hyper Reflector. The precision fixture has a solid 5600K color temperature with a high CRI/TLCI rating of 96 that is great for location shooting outdoors, or in areas dominated by other daylight-balanced fixtures such as HMIs. Besides power, control is a driving force in the design of the 600d Pro. The light also has a myriad of wireless control methods, such as the included 2.4 GHz remote, the Sidus Link mobile app, and the built-in wireless DMX control. It has four dimming curves: Linear, Exponential, Log, and S-Curve, to ensure accuracy regardless of your chosen brightness level. While you can make adjustments locally on the fixture, you can also make them wirelessly at a distance up to 328' via these methods - a real attribute for lights mounted overhead or in hard to reach places.

Powering the light has options too. The light is ready for worldwide use via its 100 to 240V power supply but thanks to its dual battery plate it can be powered by two 14.4V, 26V, or 28.8V batteries. The control box also accepts 48V (15A) DC power via a 3-pin XLR for external power stations. You can use two V-Mount mount batteries and recharge them while they are connected to the plugged-in light.

The 600d Pro is weatherproof (dust and water resistant), so it is built to withstand any shooting environment. When it comes to features Aputure has left no stone unturned with the inclusion of special effects such as paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, strobe, and explosion. Aputure has also generously provided a rolling case for storage and transport.

A: Being that the operating voltage is 100 to 240 VA, you can connect it to a plug in the UK using a UK plug adapter over the existing AC cable.

A: On an LED light such as the Aputure LS 600d Pro Daylight LED Monolight (V-Mount), you should get over 50,000 hours of reliable usage. After that amount of usage, the manufacturer can no longer guarantee accurate color temperature. Therefore, if the light is still working, you may have to begin using a color correction filter kit to correct for the color shifting that would have occurred.

A: Yes, the Aputure Light Dome for Light Storm LS Cob120t 120d, 300d, and 300t (35"), B&H # APLDLSC120, would be compatible for use with the Aputure LS 600d Pro Light Storm Daylight LED Light. According to Aputure, the LS 600d Pro is compatible with Aputure Bowens Mount modifiers, except for the Fresnel 2X, the original Aputure Fresnel, and Aputure Barn Doors. In place of the smaller Fresnels, the 600d Pro is recommended to be used with the F10 Fresnel and F10 Barn Doors, which are designed to withstand the heat output of the LS 600d Pro's 600W COB LED. Provided there is enough ventilation, all other modifiers, including third-party modifiers, should have no issues. The Light Dome II, Light Dome Mini II, Lantern 90, Lantern, F10 Fresnel, F10 Barn Doors, Spotlight Mount, and Light Dome SE are compatible.

[Fan] I love this light, However I discovered an issue using Speedrings for softboxes, The 3 lugs that secure the speedring become jammed and its almost impossible to remove the speedring from the light. The Aputure Lugs are aproximately .395 thick in depth. Most available speedrings have a bit more in depth aproximately .425 and become jammed on the light. I havent found any Aputure Speedrings available. Not to mention I already have a bunch of other brands that I planned on using. 5

[2.4 GHz] I am LOVING this light. It only gives you a daylight output of 5600 kelvin, but that is perfect for most situations, and the output is really really good. I've used aputure 300s in the past, and they didn't always give me enough output, but this does. I'm surprised how often I'm at 80% power or higher. Especially when I have a window behind my talent. Also the ability to charge your V-mount batteries while using this, or while it's just sitting around IS AWESOME!!! That saved me on a shoot yesterday. Thank you Aputure for making such an awesome light!!!! 5

[Daylight] Works fine for a book light, with power to spare. The header cable is not terribly long, but there is another optional cable available. The control unit is large, but attaches well with the Mafer clamp. Have not used any of the remote connections other than the Sidus app, which works well after using it for a while. This was a Used item that was in Like New condition. Thanks for the discount, B&H. Probably will purchase another one. 5

[Daylight] Hardy, versatile, bright, can’t really ask for much else. I have worked a lot with the 600s and see them on almost every set (from small corporate shoots to branded and commercial work). It is a great tool to have in your arsenal. 5

[1x Case ] Light is super bright making it a good choice for lighting any situation. with a soft box, it softens so much that the subject is well lit at the sometime shadows are soft (almost invisible). with flexibility of powering options, I can use it indoor/outdoor. added advantage is the capability to charge 2 vmount batteries while powered. remote and app controls makes it a lot easier to manage. power adapter is pretty big, it gives little extra weight that helps in stability. 5
