Fast to set up, lightweight, and easy to transport in a small bag, the Film Devices Quadra Leg Magnetic Camera Mountfrom Film Devices Quadra Leg Magnetic Camera Mountis for horizontal mounting of cameras, rigs, or other devices weighing up to 18 lb. onto a metal surface, such as a car or other platform. The kit consists of four rubber-coated mounting disks that protect your mounting surface and measure roughly 3.6" in diameter while attaching with approximately 60 lb of holding force each.

The included articulating arms allow you to precisely position the included hexagonal camera platform/cheese plate. Each mounting disk features one 3/8"-16 and two 5mm threaded mounting holes, while the hexagonal cheese plate provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads for your camera rig.

The magnetic mounting disks can be used individually to mount your device on a metal surface.

The magnetic disks are coated in rubber to protect the surfaces they are mounted on.

You can secure the disks to non-magnetic items, such as an automotive windshield, by sandwiching the material between two magnetic disks.

Three 7" articulating arms allow you to accurately position the disks.

The three 3.6" magnetic disks feature one 3/8"-16 threaded hole, as well as two 5mm threaded holes.

The 5.7" center cheese plate features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads.

A: According to the compatibility chart provided by Elinchrom, the Quadra HS head would be HS compatible when used with the Quadra Hybrid pack with the EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus HS for Canon.

[4.96 lb] i bought two of these and i've been able to mount camera (or camera on Zhiyun Crane 3S stabilizer) and some light LED panels or cans, even some flags over the windshield. they hold surprisingly well, but mind the weight/torque. i recommend getting a threaded 5/8 baby pin so you can mount lights, grip gear, etc. 5

[4.96 lb] I did a lot of research before I settled on trying the Scosche and it's perfect. It's a very small footprint, I can place the magnet between the phone and case (no scratching, no eyesore, no bulge), and it stays put even with the smaller magnet. �I'm getting a second one for the rental cars when I travel, and it won't take any room in my work bag. 5

[4.96 lb] I BOUGHT ONE OF THE ROUND CHROME HOLDERS 1ST AND WAS COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED. I NEEDED ON IN MY TRUCK SO I TRIED THIS ON AND THE WAY THIS ONE IS DESIGNED IT HOLDS THE WEIGHT OF MY PHONE WITH NO PROBLEM. THE OTHER ONE WOULD LET MY PHONE DROP , IN OTHER WORDS WHEN THE PHONE WAS CONNECTED TO THE BALL IT WOULD SLID DOWN. THIS ON HOLDS IT IN PLACE. I HAD A LITTLE BIT OF A TIME GETTING THE STICK PAD TO STICK TO MY DASH BUT AFTER HOLDING IT DOWN SO IT MADE SOLID CONTACT WITH DASH IT STUCK TO THE DASH FINE. GREAT PRODUCT. [4.96 lb] tried it in 2 vehicles, worked as advertised. Phone stays secure, never has fallen. Being in an air vent keeps the iphone screen from dimming due to overheat and easy to see it when using Waze. 5

[4.96 lb] I was always skeptical of magnetic mounts and passed several deals on Woot or other sites. I chanced upon a demo setup in the store and was very impressed with the hold. Bought one and installed it in my car. The base with the magnet attaches via sticky tape to the car. The magnet part is a ball/socket contraption in the base and can be held in a suitable angle by tightening a plastic nut. A metal plate goes on the phone. The metal plate can be inserted between the phone and case, or directly glued to the phone (plate has a sticky side). My purchase came with two plates a small the size of a quarter and a larger one the size of a credit card. I used the larger one on my iPhone 6 plus. I just put it in between the phone and case. The magnet is strong enough to hold my iPhone 6 plus at highway speeds. I have even run my car on rough spots on the streets to see if it would fall off. So far so good. I am yet to see how well the glue on the base holds up when summer comes along. One of the best uses I put this mount was attending a meeting, the kind of meeting where you have to dial in to listen and occasionally say a few words. I stuck my phone in landscape mode with gotomeeting running on it with audio streaming into my bluetooth headset. 5
