Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What lens could I use these macro lens kit filter with? I have a Nikon 50mm 1.8, 85mm 1.8, and a Tampon 35mm 1.4 lens. Would this macro lens kit fit any of these lenses above?

A: All three of the mentioned lenses have a different filter size, so this Vivitar 49mm Close up Macro Lens Kit would not fit directly on them. What you can do is purchase the Vivitar 72mm Close Up Macro Lens Kit, BH # VICUFK72 for the Tamron 35mm f/1.4 and purchase a Sensei 58-72mm Aluminum Step-Up Ring, BH # SESUR5872 for the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 as well as a Sensei 67-72mm Aluminum Step-Up Ring, BH # SESUR6772 for the Nikon 85mm f/1.8 lens in order to use the same close up filters on all the lenses. https://bhpho.to/3yfSzed https://bhpho.to/3OKlo9M https://bhpho.to/3OKB0tL

Q: 2. Is this compatible with a Yashica Mat G?

A: Yes, the Nisha Yashica and Rollei TLR/Bayonet 1 Close-Up Lens Set +4 can work on the Yashica Mat G.

Q: 3. Does this lens add any significant magnification compared to the built-in functions in the DC2000 Digital Underwater Camera?

A: This lens is for the Micro cameras only. (Micro HD, HD+, & 2.0)

Q: 4. What does special order means?

A: Special order means we do not keep it in stock. It would only be ordered from the manufacturer after you place an order with us.

Q: 5. Does the vitar kit have threads on the outside of it? Would I be able to put a macro focus on then thread the fisheye?

A: The Vivitar 62mm Close Up Macro Lens Kit has 62mm inside threads to allow stacking of the filters for various macro focusing options. Because the 10x filter is slightly convex, it can only be placed on the front of the stack.

Q: 6. Will this work with a Yashica Mat 124G?

A: Yes, the Nisha Yashica and Rollei TLR/Bayonet 1 Close-Up Lens Set +4 is compatible with the Yashica Mat 124G.

Q: 7. Are these lenses antireflection-coated?

A: No, these filters are not multi coated.

Q: 8. Can these be stacked, such as using the 4 and the 2 to make a 6?

A: Yes Vivitar 72mm Close Up Macro Lens Kit can be stacked.

Q: 9. Will this work with the baby rolleiflex?

A: The Nisha Yashica and Rollei TLR/Bayonet 1 Close-Up Lens Set +4 will fit the shooting lens on all Baby Rolleiflex cameras. Cameras produced before 1941 will not allow you to use a filter on the viewing lens.

Q: 10. How does the included 'macro lens' vary from the close-up lenses? Are the lenses single or dual element?

A: The Nisha 82mm Close-Up Lens Set (+1, +2, +4, Macro) are single element lenses. The macro is a +10 close up and the front is convex so it can only be used as the front most filter if stacked with other filters.

[Close-Up] have seen some not so good reviews on this, but any combination of these does make macros even better... have not seen any issues with focus or chromatic abbreviations and produces crisp clean photos!! was worth the money for the set compared to buying some other Brand Names that costed more for one... I recommend it.

[0.47 lb] I purchased these for my husband to use with a Nikon DSLR and he was getting very good results for much less than maco lens. This is a second set I intend to try on a nice Lumix digital camera and expect good results.

[Glass] These work well. While the pouch they come with is a nice inclusion, the netted pockets are sort of goofy. But for the price, it's a fantastic buy.

[5.7 x 4.6 x 3"] My everyday and travel lens is an 18-135 on my Pentax K-3, and it gives me a macro capability of about 1:4. I bought this filter/lens to take with me when traveling and hiking to avoid having to carry a dedicated macro lens to shoot flowers, etc. It allows me to get almost 2x the magnification, my camera focusing with the front of my lens from around 4 to 8 from the subject, which I think will be a workable range for all but critters. I've tried screwing it onto the UV filter I keep on my lens and don't notice any vignetting, at least at 135, and I haven't noticed any appreciable loss of light. I'm happy with it. Why pay more?

[0.47 lb] Every B&W lens I have purchased from B&H has been both well built and of the highest quality. This one is no different. I bought this lens to extend the native macro functionality of my LUMIX FZ1000 beyond its 1:1 ratio. Initial tests using both a tripod and hand-held in full manual mode, for optimal control, have been excellent.

I tried uploading a few sample images to show the level effective level of magnification possible, DOF and overall image quality possible, but there seems to be a problem currently with the B&H site from the uploading perspective. Anyway, overall I would highly recommend this B&W product, if you are interested in experimenting with macro without incurring substantial expense.

[Aluminum] My wife gave me set of these about a year ago and we were both impressed with the results I got using them. I am certain she will enjoy these in the correct size for her camera as much as I have enjoyed mine.
