The DENZ DAVID Universal Camera Support | Compact & Durablefrom DENZ DAVID Universal Camera Support | Compact & Durableis an ultralight baseplate that provides 15mm LWS rod support for a variety of cine-style, DSLR, and mirrorless cameras. Its universal, adjustable design enables you to place the rod bracket at the correct height for different camera and lens combinations. Plate features include a marked scale for noting the correct height for your lens, a locating pin, cooling slots, and both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screw compatibility.

The bottom of this support has locating points for mounting on DENZ BP-Multi and DENZ wedge plates or any ARRI-standard bridge plate.

A: No I wouldnt use it with those lenses..tend to only use it with 200mm upwards...good bit of gear though that lives setup on a 400mm in my case

Q: 2. I'm a little confused. Will these work with just a 15mm LWS rods configuration? Like bright tangerine leftfield 3 for ursa?

A: No, the Wooden Camera Universal Lens Support (19mm/15mm Studio) is designed for 19mm and 15mm Studio systems; 15mm LWS is a different standard that uses different spacing, so this will not work with 15mm LWS systems.

Q: 3. Would this work with a Vazen Anamorphic Prime for mft cameras because those lenses are large and heavy?

A: Yes, the Wooden Camera Universal Lens Support (15mm LWS) is compatible with Vazen Anamorphic Prime lenses.

A: Yes it should work with a CP.2 - BUT why would you possibly need this for such a short lens?? It is really meant for long lenses....

Q: 5. What is payload capacity of this? Can it support the Cooke S4 weight?

Camera operators will use this unit to support way bigger lenses. Our lens support is made of very sturdy aluminum so it can support very heavy zoom lenses. A: According to 8Sinn the maximum height of this lens support is 80mm.

[15 mm LWS] This is one of the best and most versatile supports on the market. Managing lens changes and all the ways you have to lock them down to exist in a full cine workflow can be a chore. Having a support that is not only well made but has a design that allows it to be a solid option for both 19 and 15mm rod standards AND having accessories and configurations that allow photo and cine lenses of any size that I have thrown at it, is VERY valuable. 5

[0.75 lb] I like this support system a lot. You'll find heavier duty support systems that can handle 15mm and 19mm studio support for anamorphic lenses, but they are also triple the price. If you just have a 15mm LWS system and compact cine lenses (I own Zeiss Milvus glass coming off a PL-style mirrorless adapter) this is sturdy, flexible, and compact for its capability. SHAPE also carries a lifetime warranty for non-electrical parts - can't argue against that. Best feature is the dual threaded 1/4 and 3/8 support rod. 5

[0.75 lb] I purchased this item over a year ago to reinforce my 48 inch slider. �When producing video for real estate and other gigs, it is important for fast change over from the DJI Ronin, to Jib, to Glidecam and Slider. �With ARCA acceptance clamps on each rig this is all possible. ��I like to repurpose my old useless equipment if possible. �Using an old Bogen tripod, I am able to eliminate the shake and dip as the 7 lb camera nears the end of the slide track. �It is far more easier to move a tripod and glider than it is to move the glide bar attached to 2 tripods. �I am going to purchase a second one for even more stability. �Seeing previous complaints of falling apart... �No issues with me. �Well built and holding firm with weekly use over the past year. �I keep it in the van collapsed with the Bogen plate, place it on the tripod, and clamp the support bar to one of the legs and I am good to go in a minute. 5

[15 mm LWS] Saw this in Africa recently on a BBC truck on the same Canon CN20x50 Cine Lens. Mine at home did not have the handle that is made in Germany. So I called the company and they said I could get it at B&H. Wow not really a surprise since B&H has everything! Anyway this handle is a quality piece of gear for the lens. Screws are included along with simple instructions. Makes the lens much easier and, more importantly, safer to handle. Like I said, a must! 5

[0.75 lb] This is more than twice the price of other supports like the Tilta (which in my opinion looks very similar). The difference is that works with every lens in my kit or that I can imagine renting due to the set of included posts. Everything fits exactly, there are instructional videos for most of their products and their tech support is second to none. 5

[15 mm LWS] There is really not much of a learning curve here. You simply slide the center piece in, slide the whole assembly on your rails, raise the center piece to your desired height and lock it down. That's it. It is sturdy and does not wobble. Being both 19mm and 15mm compatible makes it even more useful and versatile. 5

[15 mm LWS] A "professional" lens support with many included height adjustment options without the hefty Arri price. The only downside - the Base Extension is not captive in the Universal Lens Support, so if not attached to the Rolling Bracket or an Extension Post, the Base Extension can fall out of the lens support. The package includes: 3/8 Extension Post x 2 1-3/8" Extension Post x 1 11/16" Extension Post x 1 Rolling Bracket, from base to top of roller is " tall. Rolling Bracket cradle width, from outer edge of each roller is 1-3/4 Rolling Bracket depth at the roller is 7/16 Universal Lens Support is " from top of rod to top of support. 5
