[1.25 Gb/s] Running Sony PXW-Z280 and FX6 generated 12G signals over fiber with these SFPs in Blackmagic 12G Optical Fiber adapters, and all works flawlessly. These finally give us live switched 4k shows, all the way to the stream (via an ATEM Television Studio Pro 4k, which is another amazing product). The cable is UTP single mode fiber, generally between 500 and 650 feet depending on the spool, although I'm sure a longer cable would work up to spec distances. These are a bargain compared to the equivalent BMD versions, and I'm very happy to have found them. 5
