This SSD works with the iPhone 15/15 Pro via the Apple Files App and supports direct HD video capture on iPhone 15 Pro. It does not support ProRes video.

[1 TB] Small, fast, reliable, this is how technology should be, but sadly is not always there. No issues with not being recognized on plug-in, unlike WD's own spinning disk My Passports which I have used for years. On minor complaint is that the supplied cable is very stout. This thing will stick straight out 10 inches from the USB port. Expect awkward moments in tight spots like airplane seats or fold-down tables. It probably needs to be thick for signal integrity reasons, but can't they use fine gauge copper or something? There are rumors that WD sells extras to the NYPD for use as truncheons. 5

[4.9 x 4 x 1.4"] I bought this to accompany my new MacBook pro with a M1 pro. I get about 800-875mbps read speed with black magic disk speed tests. It's not getting a1000mbps but it's plenty fast enough for my purposes, I don't feel any lag, and I know that manufacturer ratings are rarely accurate. The only small complaint is that cord could be a bit longer. Overall, I recommend this SSD. 5
