The OZEN Agile 25 E-Z LOAD Fluid Head 150mmis a heavy-duty fluid head featuring a wide camera interface for steady support of camera rigs weighing up to 80 lb. The 150mm ball base can be converted to a flat base for lower-profile, slider, or car rig applications. A Build-Lock system provides your gear security and you with peace of mind when assembling your camera and accessories on the head. The camera platform has 4.72" of travel for balancing the camera forward and back.

This head's familiar placement of pan, tilt, and counterbalance controls offer comfort and ease while operating, and the 150mm ball base enables fast leveling. This fluid head features nine steps of pan and tilt drag plus a "0" setting for whip pans, 16 steps of counterbalance adjustment, and a built-in illuminated bubble level. Independent pan and tilt locks allow you to lock off one axis and still move the head on the other axis. Replaceable pan handle rosettes on the left and right side of the head enable you to use both included telescoping handles simultaneously.

The 150mm leveling ball makes it quick to level the head on your tripod legs or other platforms and keep the center of balance within the 6" diameter of the base for smoother operation without straining the head. The convertible flat base provides a lower-profile base for a car rig, scaffolding, or other compatible support.

A 16-step counterbalance enables you to adjust the head for a variety of camera rigs weighing from 8.8 to 80 lb. A counterbalance system neutralizes the weight of the head, so it will hold the desired tilt position.

Nine steps and a zero setting enable you to adjust the head for smooth moves, fast or slow. The dampening settings allow you to adjust your setting from shot to shot, while the stepped settings make your drag selections repeatable.

The Build-Lock system allows you to engage a safety pin with the tilt at zero, preventing the tilt axis from moving, while you assemble the camera on the head without having to worry about stressing the pan lock or having the head tilt suddenly under an unbalanced load. Once the camera and accessories are assembled (built) and roughly centered on the head, release the pin and fine-tune the balance on the head.

The E-Z LOAD QR plate supports heavier camera rigs, pops in and out of the camera platform, and does not have any sliding balance adjustment. However, the camera platform that the plate pops into has 4.72" of back and forth adjustment to aid in balancing your camera on the head. The use of an optional baseplate or VCT system for increased balancing ability is customary with larger cameras.

Removable rosettes on each side of the fluid head allow you to attach the included pan handles for two-handed control. If damaged or stripped, the rosettes can be removed and replaced with new ones.

[Yes] This Shape tripod turned out to be a great solution for my cinema camera and can withstand quite a bit of weight while still holding firm. The build quality is excellent and works well with heavy zoom lenses mounted on cinema cameras. Highly recommend. 5

[Yes] I'm still amazed at how cheap this was ($260 at this writing). It's a Gitzo product no doubt about that. This is a marked improvement over the previous version that used the proprietary Gitzo plates. I had no problem locking it down. Sure you can get it to move if you have leverage and force it. But in the real world it is not an issue for me. Great thing is it takes standard Arca type plates, which is hard to find in a fluid head. I'm using it on a Gitzo Leveling tripod. It's a great match for that. I'm going to buy another for my RRS ground pod for use with spotting scopes. 5

[+90° to -80°] I just got the gitzo tripod and fluid head to replace an older tripod. This head is super smooth and very good quality. Allowing me to see futher with my binoculars without the shake my other head had. I recommend this one. 5

[Yes] My old Gitzo 2-way Fluid Head failed this year. After researching alternatives, I decided to replace this with the same head. The combination of low profile adjustment knobs, and smooth action makes this the best head for my use, primarily with a scope, in the field. 5

[Yes] My first pro fluid head back in the day was a Manfrotto 501. I suffered its crappiness for a couple of years, finally saying Enough is enough and investing in an FSB-4. Eventually, my camera rigs outgrew its weight capacity. In an attempt to save some money, I read some positive reviews of a more modern Manfrotto head and tried it. Guess what? It sucked almost as much as my old 501, and I returned it. Bought this FSB-8 and of course, its amazing. 5

[Quick Release] I've now used the Sachtler FSB-8 fluid head for a few months on a variety of event video shoots (concerts, cabarets, etc.) and corporate interviews. In a nutshell: it works perfectly. This thing is far, FAR better than a Manfrotto 504HD (my previous fluid head). Super-smooth pans and tilts, great counterbalance with my Canon C100 camera and 70-200mm lens. It's nice that the quick-release plate is compatible with Manfrotto plates, so I didn't have to spend any extra cash on additional plates. My only complaint is the pan handle. It's way too short, and not adjustable in length. You'd think a fluid head as expensive as this would have a decent pan handle. You can purchase another compatible handle that does extend, but it's very expensive. That said, I have zero regrets with this fluid head. Buttery smooth motion, easy to set up, doesn't weigh much, and it just plain works. Highly recommended. 5

[Fluid Head] I have several of these and I'm not afraid to put digital recorders, monitors with batteries, etc. on them. They really hold a lot of weight right where you put it. The 1/4 screw design on both ends is MUCH better than just the stud with a plastic 'locking' collar. 5

[Yes] The GH1720QR is really good, easy to use with easy and smoothness of movement, especially when penning. It is strong and light. I am able to use it with heavy lenses such as Nikon 300 mm VR f/1.4 and the Nikon fieldscope 85mm VR. It can be used with any tripod. 5
