Use an HDMI Type A cable with your camera cage or rig with this SmallRig Ultra-Slim HDMI A to Micro-HDMI D Adapter Cablefrom SmallRig. The adapter cable features a female HDMI Type A connector on one end and a male Micro-HDMI Type D connector on the other end to fit a variety of cameras.

The female end of the adapter cable features two 1/4"-20 threads to attach to a cage, bracket, or rig, and the threads measure 0.35" apart from center-to-center. Two screws are included to mount the adapter onto your rig. This flexible, ultra-slim PVC cable measures only 0.1" in diameter and measures 5.6" in length. [PVC] I use this cable in combination with a: 1) Canon EOS R5C, 2) DJI SDR Transmission module, and 3) DJI RS 4 Pro gimbal. The Canon EOS R5C uses a mini-HDMI output connector. It is the perfect length for connecting a camera to the DJI SDR Transmission module when it is attached to the gimbal under the camera. I would order this product again or a longer version of it. 5

[1.1 oz / 31 g] This thing is supposed to provide you with extra security when it comes to attaching an HDMI cable, but what this essentially does is converts your Micro HDMI port to a full HDMI port! I have had other sony camers have loose Micro HDMI ports over use, but with this the connection is super tight and the tension is redirected to the full HDMI port. Plus you get the added benefit of using full HDMI cables instead of keeping spare HDMI to Micro HDMI if one craps out on a shoot. 5

[1.1 oz / 31 g] Coming from more professional cameras, I'm not thrilled about HDMI period! And the R5C's mini or micro HDMI(?) is even worse. This adapter means I'll (at least) never have to touch that small HDMI port again! I've locked it into the camera via the SmallRig cage, and mounted the full-sized HDMI end just in front. Works like a charm. And solves one of the real problems with the otherwise amazing R5C! 5

[PVC] It allows me to use full size HDMI cables, up to 50', with my Sony video cameras for live streaming. Much better than having to lug around different cable types for each type of camera I'm using. Seems to make reliable connections. I like the fact that you can attach the large connector to your rig so as to take the stress from a heavy cable off of your camera's micro HDMI connector. 5
