[LPL] Good for the price. I am glad i went with this and not anything more heavy, because for the scanning with camera this works good for 35mm and 120film with a 100mm macro.

[LPL] I have so many vintage lenses and I want to convert them all into LPL mount. And I love and trust Simmod. This adapter is expensive, yes, should it worth this much? No. But it’s made of very high quality materials. Not sure if it’s the L mount or this adapter but it wiggles just a tiny bit. Tiny but it’s there. Doesn’t bother me. My next step will be getting their conversion kit for FD SSC lenses. Then this expensive purchase will become more valuable. Also, super happy that Simmod partnered with BH! This way I can get all the simmod parts, accessories with free shipping and no tax with Payboo!

[LPL] Works perfect with my fx3, fx6 but could not get it to go on the Venice 2.

[LPL] Very easy to put together. The hand wheel allows for easy adjustment. I found it to be plenty stable with my OM System camera and lens. I would recommend a remote trigger once focus and height have been set to eliminate any camera shake.

[LPL] I copied 992 slides to a digital format using my Canon 5D IV with a Canon 100mm Macro lens and a Kaiser Slimline lightbox. This copy stand was a joy to work with. The up/down mechanism is smooth and precise. Stability is solid. It is lightweight and easily assembled and disassembled. There is nothing to not like about it!

[LPL] If you are going to be doing a lot of digital copying or scanning of film negatives, make the investment and get this copy stand. The large, solid base, sturdy construction, and firm camera mount will save you time and effort compared to other stands on the market.

Buy this stand once and never think about your copy stand again.

[LPL] Very good copy stand that is easy to setup and if need be take down when not in use. The height adjustment works well and provides precise adjustment of the camera.

[LPL] Saw this in Africa recently on a BBC truck on the same Canon CN20x50 Cine Lens. Mine at home did not have the handle that is made in Germany. So I called the company and they said I could get it at B&H. Wow not really a surprise since B&H has everything! Anyway this handle is a quality piece of gear for the lens. Screws are included along with simple instructions. Makes the lens much easier and, more importantly, safer to handle. Like I said, a must!

[LPL] Having dealt with adapters over many years, you know that nothing comes close to a PL mount (don't get me started on positive lock EF, not even close... plus even Canon has kicked EF to the curb). LPL now takes PL and makes it literally bigger and better. For whatever reason, changing PL lenses always took a while to get it to sit in perfect for the lock to work, but so far with LPL it's been a piece of cake every time. Maybe that's an added bonus thanks to the rear guide? Anyhow, you may be thinking well the LPL to L is still a click-in adapter to the camera body. Correct, but Ron has created a collar that allows you to bolt the collar down to a plate along with the camera cage, then tighten the collar on the adapter and it's not moving. To be honest, even without the collar, these mounts are super accurate, so very little play with them to start with, but the collar just locks everything down tight. I always hated when using a follow focus (especially a focus motor) and every time you made an adjustment it shifted the lens in the mounts. Even the tiniest bit of movement showed up in the shot, so when you have two weak points, you get a lot of movement when you throw in some torque. With this setup, any movement between the lens and camera is now completely gone. I bought 4 LPL to L mounts and collars, instantly you should realize that is a big investment, but 100% worth it. Every time I use them, they make me happy, so thank you Ron and crew for continuing to push this industry forward!!
