Support a long or heavy lens on your 15mm LWS rig with this DENZ 15mm Lens Support Unit | Compact & Durable Designfrom DENZ. The aluminum support features standard 15mm LWS rod ports with an open style so they can clamp onto separately available rods, rather than having to slide it off when other gear is mounted. One port is open at a 90° angle, and there is one single locking lever that secures both ports around your rods.

The unit includes 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 thumbscrews to accommodate different lenses, and 0.4 and 0.9" spacers are included for the 1/4"-20 screw to ensure it fits the height of your lens.

A: No, the Wooden Camera Universal Lens Support (19mm/15mm Studio) is designed for 19mm and 15mm Studio systems; 15mm LWS is a different standard that uses different spacing, so this will not work with 15mm LWS systems.

Q: 3. Will this Universal Lens works with Zeiss Compact Prime CP.2 50mm/T1.5 Super Speed? Thanks.

A: Yes it should work with a CP.2 - BUT why would you possibly need this for such a short lens?? It is really meant for long lenses....

A: Chrosziel's Lens Support for Canon SD ENG 15mm is a lens support bracket for Canon SD ENG lenses for mounting onto lightweight support rods with 15mm diameter (not included). Performance with other brand lenses is not recommended.

A: The minimum height one can secure a lens above the top of the rods is about 5mm. You should definitely have enough space for your setup.

[0.53 lb] This is a great solution for fixing a heavy lens. Simple but gets the job done and doesn't take up too much space inbetween follow focus, matte box etc 5

[15 mm LWS] First thing that I have noticed that this lens support is very light and easy to use/mount. I like the fact that bottom part is not long and it does not stick out from the bottom of the rods like the old SmallRig support I own. 5

[Aluminum] A "professional" lens support with many included height adjustment options without the hefty Arri price. The only downside - the Base Extension is not captive in the Universal Lens Support, so if not attached to the Rolling Bracket or an Extension Post, the Base Extension can fall out of the lens support. The package includes: 3/8 Extension Post x 2 1-3/8" Extension Post x 1 11/16" Extension Post x 1 Rolling Bracket, from base to top of roller is " tall. Rolling Bracket cradle width, from outer edge of each roller is 1-3/4 Rolling Bracket depth at the roller is 7/16 Universal Lens Support is " from top of rod to top of support. 5

[0.53 lb] A lens support is important, not only for relieving most of the strain on the lens mount, but for keeping the lens stable against reaction forces by motors and follow-focus devices. It also acts like a spreader to stabilize a pair of 15mm support rods. The height is quickly adjustable using a captive nut, but cannot be locked in position. The Y is wider than it needs to be, and won't fit between rods without a bit if gymnastics. That can be tricky if you wish to add the support to a rig already set up with follow focus. The Y is also unpadded. Although unlikely to scratch the lens, I intend to add some polymer tape for cushioning. That said, the price is right, and it is well made, without sharp edges. 5

[9 x 7 x 2"] We use these with our Canon 15-120 and 25-250, and they work GREAT. We actually prefer them to more expensive models from other makers because they are lower profile, which means you can set down the camera on a flat surface without it tipping over. The included extension adapters are also wonderful to build it up to the lens without extra rod sticking out the bottom (which again would let the camera tip over) - others charge $50+ for these. 5
