A: It doesn't rotate freely. There's a good amount of friction, but possible to rotate.

Q: 7. Do I need a Shape cheese plate for this to be conducive with the Sony FX6?

A: You do not need a SHAPE cheese plate to mount the SHAPE Push-Button Viewfinder Mount for Sony FX6. As long as the SHAPE Viewfinder Mount can mount to a 1/4"-20 thread with 4 ARRI-style locating pins, you can attach this accessory to another accessory.

A: At this moment Sony has not confirmed compatibility of the Sony DVF-EL200 Full HD OLED Viewfinder with the Sony BURANO camera.
