The Arca-Swiss Quick-Link Base Receiver - Compact Designfrom Arca-Swiss Quick-Link Base Receiver - Compact Designis for the Quick-Link Tripod Head Quick Release system. It is useful for being able to quickly exchange tripod heads on a leg set when working with multiple types of tripod leg sets. The Quick-Link set makes it possible to travel light by carrying multiple leg sets or other head mounting options. Additionally, it features a 3/8"-16 threaded mounting socket, compatible with most tripod leg sets. The installed 2.8"-diameter receiver can be left permanently on the tripod.

A: The diameter of the base for the Arca Swiss Quick-Link Tripod Head Quick Release Set is 2.75 inches, so that may interfere with the legs on the TFC-34 are raised.

A: This arca plate would be too long for the Canon 100-400 4.5-5.6 IS II lens. For that lens I recommend this Wimberely P10 plate. It has a lip in the front of the plate that will hold the lens from twisting in the plate. [0.335 lb] Do you need it? I don't know. Do you want it? Most definitely!! I was hesitant before pulling the trigger on this. I considered how lazy you'd have to be to not want to screw you tripod head onto tripod legs but in the same breath, a wise person once said "buy once, cry once" You'll wonder how you've worked without this. Comes well packaged and tools included :) 5

[Aluminum] I have one of these on my tripod, my slider, and my cart and can effortlessly switch between any of them quickly. It's not that it takes impossibly long to unscrew a tripod head the old fashioned way, but the added confidence of doing a quick change and not worrying if you need to switch back. It's well worth it to not be constantly fiddling while the client is sitting there waiting for you. Super expensive, but I can't complain. 5

[0.335 lb] This product is a must have item for anyone with multiple tripod heads or those who routinely remove their tripod head for transportation. I have three tripods and four tripod heads and this product allows me to quickly swap the heads as needed….. it is no-longer a chore 5

[0.335 lb] I didn't know I needed these until I got them! Major time savers. I'm often between different rigs and it's so great to just have to twist once and s switch mounts with out having to twist your tripod entire tripod head off one thing and twist if on to another thing. Super simple with these! I love the slim profile too so there's no significant height added if you don't need it! You won't regret buying these! 5
