A: One Wire. Two plugs on one end and 4 on the other end. Not a pair of wires. You will have to buy two of these for a pair.

Q: 5. are there two sets per box to connect two speakers or do you have to order "2"?

A: This is single cable with banana connectors on both ends. The cable is constructed with two sections -- the red side is for connecting the hot signal and the black side is for connecting to ground. This cable will connect to one speaker. You will need a second cable to connect your second speaker. This item (B&H # CA4S112B2B12) is one Canare 4S11 cable.

Q: 6. What is the gauge of the wire, this ad says 11 age, but some other sites with the exact cable says it is 14 awg, which is very thin for speaker runs. What is the truth?

A: I purchased the 4S11 6 ft cables. Made in Japan is indicated on the cables. Not sure about the connectors. These cables and connectors are high quality. Worth every dollar.

Q: 9. Wouldn't this single Canare quad speaker dual banana to dual banana be sufficient alone to connect to a center channel speaker?

A: It would depend on the connectors on the back of the center-channel speaker that you want to connect to.
