Q: 1. so what is the RGG and the bi color differences? Can the RBG do the white color? if yes then RBG can also do like the Bi Color?

A: The difference between the RGB mode and the bi-color mode of the Godox LC500R Mini RGB LED Light Stick (White, 18") is that the former consists of red, green, and blue LEDs that can be mixed together to create other colors, while the latter uses a different set of LEDs on the light stick to give you colors expressed only in "color temperature" or "Kelvin". Bi-color mode ranges from a warm color known as "tungsten" or "3200 Kelvin" and is adjustable to the white light range known as "daylight" or "5600 Kelvin".

[0.28 lb] As many others have pointed out, this Godox ice light is many dollars less expensive than the Westcott model. Not having owned or played with that product, I can't draw any first hand comparisons between the two. For my purposes, the Godox model was more than good enough. I used it for the first time at a shoot in an old historic home. Windows in those old houses are typically small, both to keep the home cooler in the summer and to keep the heat inside in the winter, for this particular northeast US climate. Bad for available light photography though, and so I put three Godox ice lights to work providing just enough soft illumination to give me the exposure I needed and to deal with those nasty deep fireplace shadows. The light was natural, filling in those deep shadows when you dialed in the right amount of intensity, that can be adjusted from 100% down to 10%. I played with both the daylight setting and warmer tungsten level light. Working with a combination of diffused daylight and moderate Godox light set for Tungsten, the effect was very natural for this type of subject. I've tried using remote strobes before but the effect was too cold and the images too snappy, caused by the increased micro-contrast result of using speedlights. Color filtering those did not help. Anyway, the Godox ice lights were each mounted on a light stand, but I can see how some could complain about the weight being somewhat heavy. The longest I've had the lights on during any session was about 45 minutes with no issues of power, color change, or light intensity loss. Shifting the barn doors from one side of the stick to the other is inconvenient, but certainly not a deal breaker given that these are an incredible value otherwise. Whether you're a studio shooter, location shooter, or both, I think you'll get a lot of use out of these lights. They're a very good investment.

[13 A] So many practical uses for this thing. From a mood accent, to interview lighting on the fly, to even just lighting your work space. It's so good someone stole my first one so I bought another!

[0.28 lb] This has become my favorite and most versatile light I use. I made a hood with black paper on one side and diffusion paper on the other that adds to the utility.

[0.28 lb] I bought the Godox LC500 on a lark, thinking it would be a good haul along travel light. I don't like carrying light kits, but thought this light saber might be useful. Boy, is it ever. I've used it to fill light daylight images, single illuminate B&W portraiture and provide work lights when doing astrophotography. Only regret is that I didn't buy another BEFORE prices went up. They're still worth it, but mine was a solid value buy- don't see many of those on new gear anymore.

[0.28 lb] This light stick is amazing. Great light and the barn doors really helped control the angle. The remote was a huge help when I had my light stick with my model inside of a window and I was outside controlling the light. I highly recommend it.
