The OZEN Carbon Fiber Tripod 150mm Heavy-Duty Spreader Feetis well suited for heavy digital cinema, as well as other cameras, for use with OZEN's AGILE 25 fluid heads. The legs can support the weight of the head, plus the head's maximum load, with enough wiggle room for comfort so you aren't pushing the limits of your system. The heavy-duty construction creates a stable platform that enables you to operate your head at the highest levels of drag resistance without the legs flexing as you pan and tilt.

The legs utilize rotating lever locks, one for each leg, that allow you to apply the torque necessary to secure your legs against the weight of your fluid head and camera system, preventing the legs from slipping while you operate the camera. The included removable mid-level spreader simplifies moving quickly from camera position to camera position, and it is ideal for use on uneven terrain, as well as flat surfaces. The removable rubber feet provide grip on hard surfaces and can be easily removed for working on soft surfaces, such as sand or dirt.

Carbon fiber legs are lightweight and strong, as well as being corrosion resistant, especially to saltwater, which makes them ideal for use on boats and the seashore.

The single-stage legs are fast to operate with only a single lock per leg.

The legs support 120 pounds of head and accessories, allowing you to mount a heavy-duty fluid head and accessories.

The independent leg spread and height adjustment allows you to use the legs on oddly shaped areas as well as steps.

The mid-level spreader allows the legs to remain stable when on uneven and rocky terrain such as gravel, rocky ground, and steps.

Removable rubber feet protect delicate surfaces from the foot spikes, and the deep rubber tread provides good grip on hard surfaces.

The legs feature spiked feet that provide solid purchase in soft surfaces when not using a spreader.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the Miller Compass 15 work with the flowtech 75 tripod legs ?

A: The best heads to use with the Sachtler Flowtech legs would be their Aktiv heads. However, the 75 mm ball Miller Compass 15 should be compatible with the Sachtler Flowtech 75 MS Carbon Fiber Tripod with Mid-Level Spreader and Rubber Feet, which has a 75 mm bowl for the head.

Q: 2. Is this tripod sturdy enough to work with a Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast G2 Camera with a Fujinion broadcast lens?

A: Yes, the SmallRig FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Carbon Fiber Tripod System has the payload capability of the Blackmagic Design Broadcast G2 Camera with a Fujinon broadcast lens.

Q: 3. Will this work with the Manfrotto 504 head ?

A: The SmallRig FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Carbon Fiber Tripod System uses a 75mm bowl mount for it's fluid heads, so you would need to use a 75mm half-ball adapter to mount the Manfrotto 504X Fluid Video Head with Flat Base to the tripod. Compatibility is possible but not guaranteed.

Q: 4. Height of tripod without head?

A: The SmallRig FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Carbon Fiber Tripod System without the head has a height of 32''.

Q: 5. Does this have one-step height adjustment?

A: Yes, SmallRig FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Carbon Fiber Tripod System tripod legs adopt a one-step locking system - operating a single toggle can lock two legs quickly, with a height ranging from 37"-78" (94 cm-197cm) and a folded length of 39" (99cm).

Q: 6. Can you use this tripod with out a spreader?

A: Yes, the Sachtler flowtech 100 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Rubber Feet can function, and be used without a spreader.

Q: 7. Will these legs accept a 75mm Sachtler Aktiv8 head?

A: You will need to use the Sachtler aktiv Bowl Connector for 75mm Tripod to connect a Sachtler aktiv8 head to a tripod with a 75mm bowl.

Q: 8. Does this come with the carrying bag? The picture that shows "package includes" does not have a carrying bag.

A: Yes, the SmallRig FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Carbon Fiber Tripod System certainly includes a carry bag. Image of Bag: https://bit.ly/3sFDtQu

Q: 9. Has anyone tried mounting a slider on it? does it have any substantial flex? and how does it compare to the Manfrotto 535 and 536 in terms of stiffness and stability?

A: This is a surprisingly stable tripod. The first time I took it in the field my producer thought it was a weird, cheap thing until he saw the Sachtler branding. Once the legs are locked, they stiffen and feel as solid as a set of Sachtler speedlocks. I will say, with the spreader attached, it feels rather narrow. Depending on the load, I would have liked the legs to spread more. To answer your question, in comparison to the flex/stability of the Manfrotto legs, it is as stabile as them, albeit without the spread of those legs in terms of width. This was an upgrade for me from the Manfrotto 546B Legs. No regrets thus far

Q: 10. What tripod pan handles work with this tripod? I need a second but small rig doesn't sell theirs separately.

A: Unfortunately, the SmallRig FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Carbon Fiber Tripod System has a proprietary pan bar that is not yet available separate from the full system.

[150 mm Bowl] My favorite thing about this tripod is the ease with which it can be raised and lowered to different heights, the three latches (one on each leg) are very quick to disengage or engage. It also has an excellent included fluid head. Seems to be built to last with plenty of premium materials as well. Definitely would recommend!

[Mid-Level] One of the best mid-price tripods. Looks Good, pan and tilt is super smooth, overall awesome functionality. Takes up some space as it doesn't pack down that small and also don't let the carbon fool ya its still got some weight to it.

[Mid-Level] In all, we bought 9 of these tripods to outfit two of our podcast studios. After we tested out one, it was an easy vote to go exclusively with these. They are SO SOLID. Everything about them - top to bottom. Just solid, thoughtful construction. We have two tripods that we spent over $1000 for and these are just as good, if not better! I rave about them all the time, it's the best upgrade we've made all year!

[150 mm Bowl] This is a great alternative to me buying a second Sachler tripod system. This definitely helps out when you’re alone shooting.

[150 mm Bowl] For the price, you can't do much better. It's lightweight and pretty sturdy. I love how you can raise and lower the tripod using just one lever. In my opinion, to do better, you'll need to spend at least $800 on a different tripod.

[2] Im changing my review from 3 stars to 4 due to the fact small rig reached out to me on my previous review about a broke strap on the carrying bag that broke off and sent me a new bag without me asking! Thats great customer service! I have a lot of small rig accessories and love just about all their products. This tripod is really good for the price and does the job well. My only little complaint (and its a personal opinion and probably me being picky) is the tripod legs don't spread out wider to get the tripod lower for low sit down interviews but you can't expect everything for a $400 tripod. It's a really great value and it's constructed well and I use it all the time for live events. Highly recommend

[2] I'm an older filmmaker, female and needed a tripod I could easily carry and operate with my Canon EOX C200 camera. It doesn't have quite the easy release I wanted, but I'm sure getting that would sacrifice the sturdiness this provides. Really great value for the price. Perfect for me.

[Carbon Fiber] I bought 2 of these tripods and they are amazing. Very easy to setup, they look super professional with the carbon fiber legs. I even tried to max out the weight with an Ursa broadcast G2 and it performed phenomenally
