A: No, flyaways are not covered by the DJI Care Refresh. The damaged drone must be available to request a repair or replacement. However, if the flyaway was caused by a manufacturer's defect you can open a ticket with DJI support and they can examine the flight logs and make a determination.

Q: 7. Does this 2-year plan offer flyaway coverage like the 1-year plan does? If so, do you still only get one chance to use the flyaway replacement, or two?

A: The DJI Care refresh 2 years for the Mini 2 will also cover fly aways and has up to 3 replacements within 2 years.

[3-Year ] I had purchased the Canon GX10 camcorder but it arrived with a broken piece (something was loose inside that would rattle). B and H did send me a RMA return package slip and the device was returned to B and H with the understanding that a replacement device be sent to me. What instead happened was the device was "repaired" and sent back to me ( it had the same serial number ). So it wasn't a replacement at all but rather a "refurbished." Rather than risk additional problems, I went ahead an bought this CarePAK for a little piece of mind. 5
