Add a professional, high-capacity battery plate to power your Sony FX6 rig and accessories with this Gold mount Wooden Camera Battery Slide Pro Sony FX6 Gold Mountfrom Wooden Camera. The battery slide attaches to the rear of the camera and supports a Gold mount battery while leaving access to the camera's standard battery compartment. With the camera's BP-U battery in place, hot swapping is supported.

The Battery Slide Pro also features three D-Tap outputs for powering accessories. The D-Tap array features a digital fuse that monitors the individual D-Tap ports and disables them if they exceed the set current for accessories, leaving the camera running without interruption. Once the load has been reduced by removing accessories, a reset button can be pressed to enable accessory power again.

Once the slide is mounted onto the camera, the battery plate position can be adjusted by loosening a lever and sliding the plate. The assembly closely matches the rear profile of the camera to allow it to efficiently fit in a camera case.

[Gold Mount] It makes the camera a bit clunkier, but the amount of battery life it adds is well worth it, especially compared to the proprietary sony batteries that go in the camera. And wooden camera is the best, I always go with them for accessories if I can afford it. 5

[1.035 lb] I appreciate the two P-Tap ports and the ARRI-style receptacle was a useful bonus. I attached a SmallRig ballhead for a field monitor and cable management was easy to use one of the P-Taps to dummy battery on the field monitor. 5

[1] I bought this for my new Sony FX6. I already had V-Mount batteries that I use for my Sony A7SIII. This plate lets you hot swap the V-Mount battery. The plate tilts and you can adjust the position as needed. Only thing to keep in mind is that the 2 screws used to mount this on to the camera, can get lost. Especially the smaller one. Buy a few spares (M3x5mm and M3x40mm) 5

[Connector] This thing is a great fit for the FX6. It provides easy access to the camera's battery compartment and also allows you to power the camera directly via your Anton Bauer battery. The fact that it mounts directly to the back of the camera allows you to avoid running rails out the back of the base. 5
