This sturdy all-metal baby plate will securely mount a camera or camcorder onto a wall or other similar flat surface. It features an 8" baby pin arm that can support a camera and lens combination weighing up to 6 lb. The baby plate features a mounting block that allows the camera's distance from the wall to be adjusted and rotated 360° around the pin. For positioning flexibility, the mounting block's two baby receivers provide the option of mounting it in-line or perpendicular to the baby pin. The camera angle may be precisely adjusted using the included mini ball head. The mounting block and ball head are removable for camera swapping or maintenance, and they also can mount onto any light stand baby-type 5/8" stud. By removing the mounting block and mini ball head, the BP-RA-MBH becomes a heavy-duty baby wall plate capable of supporting whatever load the user-chosen wall fasteners will hold, making it suitable for mounting LEDs, light fixtures, studio strobes, select grip heads, and more.

A: A 1/4-20 screw is too big for that Impact Clamp. Something like an M4 screw should work though.

A: These are welded steel. The weak point will be the wall and how you anchor them.

[9 x 6.5 x 3.5"] This wall plate is great for many things in my studio. For starters, it's a wall plate with a baby pin, which is great. Add the mounting hardware and it's good for speedlights, small lights, a GoPro or small mirrorless camera. Using the baby pin and adding other heavy duty grip makes it easy to use larger, heavier lights and cameras. It's important to make sure you tighten down all hardware so you don't have unwanted rotation or slipping. This wall plate can also function as a ceiling plate, making it even more versatile. [9 x 6.5 x 3.5"] This is a great item to have when working on projects, I attached the mini ball head to a small stand also picked up at B&H. These work great together especially when working on table top projects. For the price you need to buy two, they are well worth the money. !!!!!!! Mr Jeff 5

[Metal] I've been providing audio and video services for an elementary school for years. I needed something to get a camera higher over the audiences' heads than my tripod would go when filming kids' performances. This was just the thing. It's mounted securely into a cinderblock wall and holds my 4K Canon camcorder just fine. I'm going to order 2 more to hold the additional cameras we use when recording their upcoming musical play. Great purchase for the price! 5

[9 x 6.5 x 3.5"] I've been helping out with sound and lighting at an elementary school for 30 years. In the last few, I've expanded into video productions of their 5th grade junior versions of Broadway plays. It's always been a problem getting the video POV high enough with a tripod that I don't catch audience heads. We now have 3 of these mounted high on the back wall of the former-gym-turned-auditorium and they work wonderfully with my 4K center and 2 2K side cameras. 5

[Metal] I needed to find a way to mount a GVM LED Tube light to a C-stand. This was the perfect piece of equipment, along with a ARCA Swiss Mount on one end and a + Baby pin on the other. Attached to both very securely and I felt comfortable adjusting the angle of the tube light on the job. Highly recomend!! 5

[9 x 6.5 x 3.5"] This cheap ball head can hold much more than I expected! Really solid grip & hold power, way above its weight & size. One of them is even holding my quite heavy Amaran P60X light with the diffuser and the grid at a quite aggressive angle! Super versatile as you get the baby receiver mount and a normal threaded ball head in the kit which you can use separately. I want to buy more of these as they are just so useful & cheap! 5
