Capture professional HD video for your video conferencing, education, house of worship, or other video application with this white 3G-SDI/HDMI/USB PTZ Camera with PoE, 20x Zoom, Whitefrom AViPAS. The remotely controllable PTZ camera allows you to capture up to 1080p60 resolution with 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs, up to 1080p30 with dual IP streams via its RJ45 interface, and up to 720p over its USB 2.0 output. Featuring 20x optical zoom, it provides a 3.23 to 60° adjustable angle of view, a ±170° panning range, a ±90° tilting range, auto or manual focus, wide dynamic range, and serial control support.

The low-noise 1/2.8" CMOS sensor ensures a high signal-to-noise ratio while advanced 2D/3D noise-reduction technology further reduces image noise so that an even sharper image is delivered in low light. The RJ45 Ethernet port allows you to control and configure the camera via IP, and it also allows simultaneous dual streaming via IP for a live Internet stream. You can also output the video via USB Type-B, and with UVC and UAC support, making it easy to interface with a computer to send video and audio to a streaming or recording application. There is also a 3.5mm audio line input on the back to input stereo audio into your streams and video output.

The pan/tilt/zoom mechanism uses quiet, smooth movements, controllable using the included IR remote controller, ONVIF and Visca-over-IP control, or by using the RS-232 input/outputs that support VISCA, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P protocols for use with a separately available controller. You can store up to 128 presets using an optional serial controller, or store 10 presets when using the included IR remote. You can power the camera using a networked PoE+ (Power-over-Ethernet) switch, or by using the included power adapter. The camera also includes an RS-232 control cable and a USB cable.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. We are considering the CV620 for worship streaming and need to know the angle of view at both ends of the zoom range so we can design the installation locations. Can you provide this information?

A: Due to the small size of its image sensor, we could not find an FOV calculator that would give us accurate results. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly for confirmation: support@marshall-usa.com

Q: 2. Is the lens threaded for filters? if so what size?

A: It is not. In general PTZ cameras rarely have lens threadings.

Q: 3. can this camera be ceiling mounted ?

A: Yes. The following unit can be mounted on ceiling and tripod.

Q: 4. Can anyone speak to the low-light performance of this camera's image sensor? Planning to use these models in a Synagogue install, where portions of the service will have dimmed room light. Not entirely dark.

A: Marshall lists this for use, among other things, for houses of worship. Users have reported excellent over all image quality.

Q: 5. What cable would I use to place the camera 25-50 feet from the controller? The PTC-200 controller only had a short cable and I do not have the ability to build one of my own.

A: B&H # TEVMDX850 is a TecNec Visca Camera Control Cable 8-Pin DIN Male to Male 50 Feet that you can use. https://bhpho.to/2Jgf7nT

Q: 6. What ethernet cable meets spec for this, to power it and control it? Can we use Cat 5e cable? Or does it need Cat 6?

A: The AViPAS AV-1562 SDI/HDMI/USB PTZ Camera can be driven via Cat 5 or Cat 6. Cat 6 Ethernet cables support data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps (10GBASE-T) for distances up to approximately 180 feet. Cat 5E cables can support Gigabit speeds but at a shorter distances (up to 5GBASE-T).

Q: 7. What is the main difference between this model AV-1562 and the AViPAS model AV-2020G?

A: While very similar to the AViPAS AV-1562 SDI/HDMI/USB PTZ Camera with PoE & 20x Optical Zoom, the AViPAS 3G-SDI/HDMI/USB PTZ Camera with PoE and 20x Zoom (Black) AV-2020G features a slightly wider lens, increased sensitivity down to 0.1 lux, and UVA support as well as UVC. The 2020G also does not have the block RS422/RS485 connection or USB 3.0.

Q: 8. Does it support NDI HX protocol?

A: The FeelWorld SDI/HDMI PoE PTZ Camera with 20x Optical Zoom offers no NDI support of any kind. If NDI is within your pipeline, you could encode HDMI to NDI, with something like the BirdDog Mini HDMI to NDI Encoder/Decoder.

Q: 9. Does both audio and video transmit via the Hd-SDI and HDMI outputs?

A: Yes, the audio and video are exported with simultaneous output over SDI, HDMI, and Ethernet.

Q: 10. Can the minimum pan and tilt speeds go below 1 deg/sec?

A: That would be a function of the controller it is paired with more than anything else. The compatible VS-PTC-200 that Marshall Electronics offers can be set to 3 different speeds, however there is not a setting that will go that slow. It may be possible if you set the controller to the slowest speed and manually turn the joystick gently though. This sounds like a very specific function you are looking for, feel free to email us directly at provideo@bhphoto.com so we can assist you further.

[f/1.5 to 3] This camera is a diamond in the rough. Great buy for the money..

It Works perfectly with my (10 year old) Sony RM-BR300 controller. All functions are available on the controller.

Beautiful, clean and clear image! 3G - HD-SDI output is a great option.

[PoE+ 802.3at] I own one of these CV620's and three of the CV620IP's and I like this one the best. Even though the cameras are the same model with the exception of the added IP functionality, the CV620 outperforms the IP model when it comes to silky smooth panning and tilting. If you want to be able to slowly and smoothly move your camera LIVE at full zoom, then the CV620 is the one for you.

[20x] We use this for short distance and the zoom and picture is great! Highly recommend for short distance under 50 feet.

[20x] This was purchased for a church to stream services. We wanted 3 angles and so this was perfect. We added in an ATEM switcher and off we went. These cameras are easily set up with SDI cables and simple ethernet cables. Word of advice, the controller MUST be a similar IP as the cameras to work. By default it is nowhere near the cameras IP range. The cameras perform well in our lighting which I expect with the lens quality on these. I do get flares from bright lights which might can be fixed in the settings. Our total cost came out to slightly over $5000 for everything. You don't need a computer if you get a high end ATEM switcher, only a good monitor or TV which we had laying around.

[Device: 11 W] Excellent image quality relative to cost...
Easy to configure with mac to operate PTZ
Highly recommended!!

[4.9 to 98mm] As another reviewer stated, the CV620 outperforms the 620IP in every way with regard to movement. The pan, tilt, and zoom functions rival professional broadcast cams, and definitely outpace the IP version. If you have no need of IP, consider this version and save some $$$.

[f/1.5 to 3] We have five of the new Move 4K cameras (though only the one 12x was purchased from B&H). We're a 6G shop and use the BMD 4K HDMI TO 6G SDI mini converters to bring 4K into Vmix very successfully. We keep one of these in every camera case for non PTZ cameras too because all of our current cameras send 4K out of the HDMI connection only and we have long cable runs.

We love these cameras. The new sensors make great images and at their price point we can buy more cameras than we would otherwise be able to do.

[PoE+ 802.3at] We shoot lots of concerts and sports these cameras work great for Drums and Keys. And we use them for On air talent for MMA and Boxing .
Easy to work with we pair them with the AW-RP150

[20x] Unlike most PTZ cameras, this unit will send out 59.94 and 29.97 frame rates. That means it will play well with finicky switchers like Blackmagic Design products. AND won't give you moving black lines across your screen that you get with 60, 50, 30 and other European standards as a result of your AC power frequency conflicts. Image looks good. Everything necessary is very adjustable. Great camera at half the price of it's closest competition.
