The Bescor BLG10 Battery Charger Kit for Panasonic Leica Camerasfrom Bescor BLG10 Battery Charger Kit for Panasonic Leica Camerasprovides three power options for select Panasonic and Leica cameras. A BLG10-style battery and charger provide power and recharging for the untethered operation of your camera, and a battery coupler and AC adapter let you continually power your camera when there is access to an AC outlet. [7.2 VDC] This charger takes up considerably less room in my kit than the corded charger that came with my camera (Olympus OM-D M5 III). Excellent price also - battery and charger together for much less than the cost of a second Olympus-brand battery alone. 5

[Lithium-Ion] I don't like charging my batteries in camera. If you want to carry a spare charged battery with you while shooting with the battery in camera, you have to have a way to charge that spare. The Bescor battery charger does the job. You can be charging a spare while you're out shooting with your camera. 5

[7.2 VDC] I have just received my new camera, generic battery and charger. Though I can't speak for it's length of service yet, it was a great alternative to the full price of an Olympus battery and gave me a nice, small charger as well. The new camera doesn't come with a charger. I have used generic extra batteries in the past and have found them to work about as well as the factory battery. 5
