[Fan] This light is absolutely worth,,, high recommender

[Daylight] I purchased a set of 2 of these lights for my film studio, as I was needing more constant light options for a video project. They did not disappoint, they are very powerful and the dimmer adjustment works very smoothly. They are pretty quiet & I haven't had to deal with any loud fan sounds in post. The bowens mount is nice because I do use a lot of different modifiers on the light as well.
The only con is perhaps they're a little on the heavy side when tilting in different directions. But that doesn't really bother me much. Definitely worth the money & would purchase more from GVM.

[27.5 x 14 x 9"] I do fashion photography and this light was able to light up my subject Flawlessly. While shooting outside this spotlight really surprised me. Its a very powerful light and can Be used in so many different ways to get the lighting needed! Thank you for making a great light gvm!

[Yes] This is the best video light I seen so far. It's actually consumes 98 watts of power. You'll need to buy the power cable separately. Solid build and the fan is very quiet which help keep the leds cool. High power led do make some heat when over 12 volts of power.

[Bowens S] Works as advertised on my GVM led light.

[LCD] First off, I love (real) soft boxes. No flat panel will ever match a monolight design like this at illuminating a soft box. Bowens mount makes it easy to fit a soft box. This light is extremely well built and looks pretty darn sexy. The light quality looks excellent on video, and there is tons of light available. Remote said optional in the description, but apparently is included. Nice at this price. Connectivity is great, too. Even the AC adapter is extremely well built with a lovely finish. But, whoops, the DC cord is really too short. The line lump does not reach the floor when the light is on a stand. So, I end up having to strap the AC adapter box to the stand. Irritating. But forgiven given how truly nice and useable this light is. I love it and it will now be my go-to video and photo light in the studio (usually with a soft box.)

[Bowens S] If you compare this to the most popular 150W light out there, you might find this one more useful.


It's around the same brightness and basically functions identically, except that it also has a fresnel focusing lamp so you can spotlight it and make it much brighter and/or use it from farther away.


Also, typically you can have a bowens mount OR a fresnel lens, but this light lets you use both.


I have found that I can use a 36 softbox and actually focus the light a bit to get even more brightness out of a soft source, which is great.


That lets me shoot in brighter conditions, or use the light at a lower power setting.


The fan noise is about on par with my SL150Ws, so it's not the ideal light for noise sensitive situations where the light and mic are in close proximity, but it's a versatile and bright light for the price.

[Bowens S] I use the product in my YouTube studio and with client work so paid projects i trust this light. It has replaced my Godox SL60W. Fantastic customer service and the light really shines! Very bright and very color accurate

[120°] Good quality product. Start using it in the projects. Very bright. I use LED panel light and LED tungsten style light before. Now I realize that I need the Bowen mount LED light since I have lots photography equipment and light box by Bowen mount.

[5600K] The good:
-Bang for your buck
-Lots of light output for this price point
-Affordable
-Very lightweight, love this about Yongnuo panels and I have a Yongnuo YN600 too. Panels from other manufacturers I've used (Dracast, Impact) don't pack down as small.

The bad:
-Noticeable noise, probably my biggest complaint about these but I sort of expected this for a sub-$200 light
-Haven't tested personally but the fact that you have to have 4(!) NPF's all hooked up to power this thing from battery
-The fact that it doesn't come included with wall power is crazy
-Probably color accuracy, but now I have a mix of affordable LED's from like 4 different brands and they're all pretty close in practical use on location, dealing with natural light spill too so a tiny bit of shift is fine. In a studio setting for primary use this probably isn't the right light.
-The included lightstand mount is garbage and doesn't tilt.

I purchased two of these to light a white backdrop and it worked well. They're a little spotty, but I used the included diffusion, and they had enough kick that I could take the background to full white for a waist up shot. Would need more power or more lights for a head to toe on white.
