$987.00 $1,371.93

The black M 100 C Miniature Stereo Mounting Bar from SCHOEPS Mikrofone facilitates stereo recordings using ORTF with axially addressed microphones and XY with side-addressed microphones. Your personal recording methods can also be applied with differing angles and distances between microphones.

Further, the mounting bar can be used for X/Y with laterally addressed capsules or microphones such as the MK 4V or CCM 4V U / L(sold separately).

The M 100 C mounting bar, with a black anodized finish, is designed for compact stereo recording rigs. This T-Bar style mount is unobtrusive with a bar length of only 6”. The device can be tilted forward or backward as needed.

When shock mounting is critical, the addition of the A 20 S and ST 20-3/8 mounting cylinder is all that is needed. The M 100 C Mounting Bar with an H 20g upgrade is suitable for installations requiring a small stereo setup that must be hung.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hello! With this microphone amplifier, will I still need phantom power to connect a condenser microphone to a camera like the Sony A7SIII, or a recorder like the Atomos Ninja V? If so, what do you recommend?

A: This amplifier is designed to work with the Shoeps MK series capsules, and will still require phantom power to run.

Q: 2. How are these mounted to the wall? By tape, I'm assuming? If so, how strong is the tape? I wouldn't want what I'm hanging too fall off the wall. Thx.

A: The Lineco Polypropylene Mounting/Framing Corners use a pressure-sensitive adhesive which is very strong.

Q: 3. Are these corners transparent or white?

A: These corners are transparent.

Q: 4. Can it be directly mounted to a regular ceiling? I don't have the aluminum ceiling frame as suggested in the picture.

A: No, the ALZO Suspended Drop Ceiling Mounting Bar for Stage Lights (Black Cord) is designed with three adjustable light mount clips, and two suspended ceiling mounts with hanging clips to attach to support wires from a suspended ceiling T-bar frame. This would not work with a regular ceiling. However, if you removed the clips and added two Impact 3" Baby Pin Wall Plates BH #IMSRP115P and two Impact Rapid Baby to 1/4"-20 Male Threaded Adapter BH #IMCA101 you could drill them into studs on a ceiling. This is not the intended use of the product, but it may work.

Q: 5. How do you set up for ORTF where one mic is raised? Is there some height allowance?

A: You should be able to move the bottom threaded washer up on the 3/8'' thread male to raise the overall height of a mic clip. However, if this wasn't high enough for your mics, a spacer and additional adapter would be needed. Here's a recommendation BH #DPDUA0019 along with B&H # ONMA300.

Q: 6. How do I get the audio on my computer

A: An adapter cable and an audio USB interface would be required: Neumann AC-20 5-Pin XLR Female to 2 3-Pin XLR Male Adapter Y-Cable - 3.3' B&H # NEAC20 Universal Audio Apollo Twin USB Desktop Interface with Realtime UAD Processing for Windows B&H # UNAPTWDUSB

Q: 7. Can you use these magnets with smaller LED COB lights like the amaran 200x without damaging the circuitry of the light?

A: The Oben Magnetic Mount with 3/8"-16 Mounting Screw (100 lb) is designed to be used with cameras and camcorders. If it will not damage those, it should not damage a small light.

Q: 8. Hi there. What mounting thread is at the bottom (centre) for the tripod? 3/8 5/8 1/4?

A: The RODE Stereo Bar (B&H # ROSB20STEREO) will mount to a standard 5/8"-27 male microphone stand.

Q: 9. Does this come with the required spacer to enable X/Y mic configuration as the product description claims? If not, can you recommend a part?

A: Yes the Lewitt LCT 40 M2 Adjustable Stereo Bar comes with adjustable fixtures for X-Y configuration.

Q: 10. Are these good to capture wildlife and nature sounds when paired with a Sony PCM-D10?

A: Yes the Microphone Madness MCSM-4 would be ideal for that kind of application.

[5/8''] I bought these to use with a Zoom when recording audio for video interviews. They are built solidly of good materials and make excellent recordings when the mics are chin high on the lapel, but they are far too bulky to hide and too large and distracting when left exposed, even when you take off the wind screens. If you are doing audio only, they can't be beat for the price. However, if you are looking for a small Lavalier that you can hide or won't be a visual distraction, these ain't the best choice.

[5/8''] If you want better control over mic placement on your stereo bar, you came to the right place. The scaled / graduated marks on the bar as well as the threaded mic mounts give you the option to make informed and specific choices without messing around with a protractor or ruler. And it is awfully nice the entire bar has a hinged mount, adding to even more options for an informed stereo mic placement.

This bar will serve your needs for pretty much every typical stereo mic set up, given it is wide enough to space the mics apart for omni pairs. It will not serve well for Blumlein on Mid/ Side, but okay, that is a different stereo bar.

For an omni pair, wide cardioid, cardioid or hyper-cardioid pair, you can set this stereo bar up using the scales for precise placement and then lock the pivot points down tightly so there will be no shifting once in place.

And yes, there are some other options available, but this one is made well and is price competitive. It has a lot of obvious flaws found on other stereo bars addressed simply and to great satisfaction. This stereo bar should serve you well for an entire career.

[5/8''] Just used it this past Thursday on a choir filming. This thing is outstanding and with the spacing for mics that it provides it is just perfect. It helps you get a perfect balance with mic placement on your choir, band and/or orchestra. This is a must buy!!!

[3.93" (100 mm)] Absolutely fantastic stereo mic holder. I’m using it for two Soyuz 013 small diaphragm condenser microphones. The hardware is all metal and extremely solid feeling. The distance and angle markings are easily legible and it is easy to adjust. The fittings feel very snug and secure. I’m Very happy with this and imo it’s so much nicer than anything I was able to find at a similar price point.

[3.93" (100 mm)] Great value and much better than the KM stereo bar I upgraded from. You can lock this down in every angle so it does not move at all from where you set it and it's not hard on your fingers to unlock and reposition. I didn't notice any play in the screws but the top section where the mic attaches uses an adapter screw for the mic stand thread - I used loctite to permanently attach the mic thread adapter. If you loosen the bottom screw to move it side to side you can still spin the adapter freely to take a mic on and off, and once you tighten it in your left - right position it is locked in place. I was comparing this to some other stereo bars that cost hundreds more and am very happy I choose this instead.

[3.93" (100 mm)] I use a pair of these for my MS setup(cmc1’s, mk8, mk22). When these were released in 2019 it was welcomed with open arms. I went from a 13” to 6.7” Rycote windshield. Amazing! Size and weight is a big deal for me as I hike to my locations and I carry the mentioned MS setup plus an ORTF(2 ccm4’s). They perform excellent as expected and they draw less battery power than the CMC6. I had no reason to not own a pair.

[5/8''] Amazing Stereo Bar to mic your over head pencil microphones. If you want to position your mics in the correct way that will eliminate any phasing issues, this is the bar to get. Rode has made it easy for any drummer/engineer to correctly position the microphones with printed diagrams on the actual stereo bar. The Rode M5's are awesome with this unit as well.
