Add a counterweight to your DJI RS 2 gimbal to help balance your camera with this 2.1 oz Tilta Counterweight for DJI RS 2 Gimbal (2.1 oz)from Tilta. The counterweight is made from durable stainless steel and features a 1/4"-20 thread that mounts onto the baseplate of the DJI RS 2. Since the thread goes all the way through, you can stack additional optional counterweights, depending on the weight of your rig. The counterweight is also compatible with the optional Tilta Quick Release Baseplate Counterweight Adapter and the Side Arm Counterweight Clamp.

Q: 3. Where do the third party/nucleus M motors grab power from? 2 out of 3 USB-C are used for raveneye and camera control. Can you run multiple motors? How will I attach nucleus M motors to the 12mm rods?

A: Third party/nucleus M motors grab power from a power source that has a D-tap port, using a 7-pin to D-tap cable. After powering one motor, other motors may be daisy-chained to each other. Unfortunately there isn't a 12mm to 15mm rod adapter as of 4/19/21.

Q: 4. Does it fit Weebil-S plate?

A: No it does not.

Q: 5. Does this work with DJI RSC2?

A: You will be able to mount the Tilta Rear Operating Control Handle for DJI RS 2 Gimbal on the RSC 2 but it will not support gimbal control.

Q: 6. Will this handle be able to run and stop the RED Komodo?

A: no it will not.

Q: 7. November 2023: Does this work with the regular (non pro) DJI RS3 gimbal, and work with all of the functions/controls of the RS3?

A: The Tilta Rear Operating Control Handle for DJI RS 2 Gimbal will support the DJI RS3, RS3 Pro gimbals. Please note when working with the DJI RS3/RS3 Pro gimbals, Tilta added the following info. RS3/RS3 Pro: The M Key is NOT able to mimic the function of the gimbal. The M Key on this unit can ONLY change the Mode setting.

A: Yes.

Q: 9. Can the wheel on this handle control the dji-supplied focus motor? Or does it only work with tilta focus systems?

A: Yes, the handle includes a menu button, focus wheel, trigger button, sleep mode button, and joystick, allowing you to control a follow focus such as the Nucleus-M, Nucleus-Nano, or the DJI wireless focus motor. The rear operating control handle basically takes the place of the gimbal controls. [6 x 3.7 x 1.1"] Been waiting for months for this to come available. I knew that I would like it given that it works as described. And it does, so far. Seamless control connection and still have the optional accessory to mount a cold shoe for something like the phone holder or a side handle. Wheel changes functions to focus/zoom depending on your settings and joystick works excellent. Incredible for shooting in briefcase mode and comfortably being able to control the gimbal. 5

[1/4"-20] Lasted my three years before it broke around the weaker mid section of the handle arm. But I'm actually surprised that it lasted this long with the amount of things I've put it through. It's actually crazy how much this handle changed my way of shooting and the quality of life feeling while shooting. My only advice is to take off the rubber grip with the handle bar. The glue used will eventually melt if you're in a hotter area such as Texas. I wrapped grip tape around the arm grip instead and its always felt way better in the hands. 5

[0.15 lb] Operating the DJI RS2 with both hands gripping the bottom grip was limiting my ability to control the bob and sway issues any 3-axis gimbal doesn't solve. The Tilta handle allows me to have a hand on each grip and with a bit of practice bob is nearly eliminated and sway minimized. That makes the additional handle a necessity of the overall system. The additional set of controls for focus and the secondary joystick are also a big advantage; being righthanded I find controlling the gimbal from the Tilta superior to using the bottom grip. 5

[1/4"-20] Love the angle I get with this when wanting to walk and shoot lower and keep things smooth. Am able to adjust the gimbal from this unit also so don't have to give up control to move to different carry. 5

[Stainless Steel] If you have a camcorder with a rear-mounted battery, it's highly likely you'll need to counterbalance this if you purchase the DJI Ronin RS2. It's cheap, so just buy it now and save yourself the wait time. Although, B&H always kicks butt with processing orders and shipping. Thanks, B&H!! 5
