Q: 1. I assume you just get one mount per order? ie if you want stereo then you need to buy two of these?

A: Yes, a single mount is included with this Genelec 8000-420CB Short Wall Mount for Select Monitors (Black).

Q: 2. How big are the holes and what' the spacing? Was thinking of putting some magnets on this and want to get some ideas on sizes

A: The larger holes are 5mm, and the smaller 3mm. From center to center the large holes are 5.5 cm apart. From center to center the small holes are 3.5 cm apart. The entire plate is approximately 7.5cm x 14.5cm

Q: 3. Is the pin removable?

A: The pin is welded in place.

Q: 4. What is the distance between the bigger holes on the short end?

A: From the center of each hole, we measured 65mm with a vernier caliper.

Q: 5. Is possible to surface mount these to the ceiling to use as Atmos ceiling speakers? Thanks!

A: No. Wall brackets are included though.

Q: 6. What size slot is required to install these speakers?

A: There is a template included in the box to guide the cutout in the wall, but here are some of the dimensions. The Cutout Dimensions are 7 5/8" (19.2cm) diameter Overall Dimensions are 9" x 2 3/8" D (22.9cm x 6.0cm) Depth assumption 1/2" drywall 2 3/8" (6.0cm)

Q: 7. Compatible with 8030a?

A: Yes- designed for all 8010,8020 and 8030 mounting.

Q: 8. Can this be mounted on a standard light stand?

A: This Impact Wall Plate can only mount to a wall or ceiling and would accept a junior pin on top.

Q: 9. Does this work for the Genelec 8320A model? Also does the mount come with the screws to screw into the back of the monitor?

A: Yes, it will fit the 8320A. Screws are included with the short wall-mount in order to attach the mount to the monitor. However, screws to attach the wall-mount to a wall are NOT included.

Q: 10. Since this is a low profile mount, how much can tilt and pan does this permit when mounting 8030s?

A: Based on the assembly guide, you should be able to tilt up from 30-60 degrees from the center of the speaker, tilt down 20-30 degrees. Pan seems to show roughly 45 degrees from center position.

[1.085 lb] We installed 8 pairs in our new house. They sound GREAT! I am running 4 in our great room with a 404 sub. It really makes the room good for all around use. Music, cable, gaming etc. The rest went into a master bedroom, master bath, computer room, kitchen, dining and garage. We have a dedicated theater room so I felt like I was "cutting back" using celing speakers on the main level. Was I ever shocked to see this kind of performance! Awsome bang for the buck! 5

[1.085 lb] Master Reference pretty much nails what these models are capable of. Dimension and scale are covered with precision. JBL as usual is ahead of the curve. My only complaint is availability...supply chain issues have cut deeply into pro audio. 5

[1.085 lb] I just added RC85i to home theater room. Wow! The RC85i give us the true surround sounds feeling of emersion into the shows and movies we're watching. I've already jumped out of my seat a couple of times with the excellent sounds I'm receiving. I"ve got it RC85i as surround back speakers in the walls paired with an AVR-X2700h. all of it fabulous! 5

[1.085 lb] I purchased two sets of the RC80i speakers: one for the balcony and one for the lanai which is directly below the balcony. Both are connected to an Onkyo TX-8050 via Russound volume controls. The speakers are all mounted in the ceilings. The two balcony speakers are about 20' apart from each other; same with the lanai speakers. The ceilings are hallow and since you can aim the tweeter the sound is very rich...even outside! 5

[1.085 lb] Easy to setup and surprisingly great sound from this in wall speaker. I’m using one pair as atmos ceiling speakers and another pair as rear surround. 5
