Also, you may consider swapping out the cable on this model with the Westone Full Resolution Bluetooth Cable, BH #WEBTCFRA, which will convert the headphones into Bluetooth earphones.

A: No, the locking connector on the Sennheiser CL 35 TRS Locking 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS Coiled Cable cannot be used for connection to a non-locking 3.5mm input or output. This cable is intended for use with a Sennheiser MKE 200 or MKE 400 Shotgun Microphone or XSW-D Wireless Microphone Receiver that has a locking 3.5mm output connector, or with similar devices. A: You will lose some sound quality when switching over from wired to the Bluetooth adapter. However, you'll gain the convenience of wire free (well to some extend, there will still be a wire joining the two earbuds). I like the Bluetooth option for commuting, cycling, and workouts. If I want to enjoy the sound clarity of my SE425's when traveling or at home I switch back to the wire. If you live a active lifestyle and want the freedom of being unplugged from your mobile devices I would give the Bluetooth adapter a chance.

A: SE425-CL comes with fixed clear cable only. The SE425 kits with control cable comes with an additional black control cable (standard one-button is the CBL-M-K, and the 3-button Apple one is the CBL-M+-K-EFS). Both of these Control/Mic cables are available in Black only.

This unit is not designed to connect to a microphone or connect wirelessly.

[Clear] I have a pair of SE215 earphones that I've used every day for about 2 years. Even the best-made products will fail after a time; this replacement cable buys me another year of great sound and fit without having to replace the drivers themselves, which I absolutely love. While the initial fit with the replacement cable is snug, the metal guidewire that provides the shape gradually loses its resilience and has broken in the past. However, with proper care this cable can extend the life of your earphones for a long time. My main issue with the cable is the size of the plastic enclosure on the 1/8 jack, as it's too large in diameter to fit in many smartphone cases without modification. 5

[Clear] I had the same IFB earpiece used be the Secret Service, A friend Presidential detail agent told me who the U.S.S.S buy's from. This is as good and you can select which ear without ordering one for the left or right ear. The ear piece is so comfortable you don't have to pay extra for a molded ear adapter, the universal one's it comes with will never make feel you are wearing it even after 14 hours. Don't blow you $$$ on the cheaper ones, you will spend more buying different ones that don't fit or work as well. 10-4, QSL, 73's. 5

[0.05 lb] I wanted a replacement for the stock wired cable with mic and phone controls that came with my 425s to use for church performances. The clear cable has a much more professional look that is uniform across the stage, plus it is a little longer so I got a little more give when tethered to the Aviom. 5
