[0.43 lb] I'm a semi-professional bird photographer with well more than a million photo downloads, and I've tried most of the CFexpress readers out there. Conclusion: The RDE2 is easily the best for my needs. Good company with great service, solid device, small footprint, doesn't get nearly as hot as many others, fair price… and, yes, transfers 30+MB NEFs without a hitch. Highly recommended.

[0.43 lb] This reader has a semi-soft outer case. It's about 3'' X 2-1/4 X 5/8 thick. It use a USB type C connector and comes complete with two nice (well made, thick) cords. One is USB type C to C cord, the other is a USB type C to A cord. Transfer speed seems fine. I highly recommend this product.

[Aluminum] When I transferred the 83GB image on my prograde cfexpress 256GB card on my macbook pro 13" m1 computer, it would altar in exactly 2 minutes. I learned that the macbook pro m1 supports 10gb/s and 40gb/s, if it did not support 20gb/s, I think it would transfer faster.

[0.43 lb] I bought Transend's CFexpress reader after reading a review about how much more cool (temperature wise) it is compared to the other brand I have been using. My only complaint is does not have dual card reader capability for SD.
